I'm getting the feeling that Atheists here today are getting ammunition from anti-Christians but don't really know what they're talking about.

If you feel that the Bible is a "load of crap", can you please be a little more specific and give an example? I'd be willing to bet that the typical "educated" Atheist can't meet a challenge like this.

(Try to do it without making up stuff that isn't there, okay?)

Why is dying a sacrifice for jesus if he is really a god? Isnt it infact bliss for him to return where he came from? Why isit a sacrifice for a god(jesus) who possibly cant feel pain n have no worries bout dying? Whats the sympathy or deal about god giving his only son if he knew that his son was as powerful as him n so no one can possibly harm him? The worst could happen is jesus would die and go back to his father...so wads the deal?
Besides, why this complicated mechanism to remove sin? If god was so powerful he could jus wave his wand to remove our sins instead of putting up a drama down here?
Besides, what is the point in dying for our sins? I though god created us to see whether we r good humans so that we can share a place in his heaven? In that case, dyin for our sins sounds like a cheat code used in a computer game...pls do ans all...

Ok. I am not trolling here. I am a Christian. But, I just got done reading a post and I was throughly confused by what I saw many people posted.

Many people posted that something that was in the old testament, was, in a sence, null because of the new testament. But I do not understand that logic. The 10 commandments are in the old testament, stories of Noah, Jonah, Job, Moses, etc. are all in the old testament, and are taught in sunday schools and used in sermons today. How can we ignore the old testament?

Please explain you reasoning. If you only have something smart-aleck to say, please don't bother to post. I already know what non Christians think about the subject. Thanks.

What is the purpose of god creating pigs if u r not suppose to respect that animal or consume it? Why even create a filthy animal? Why create a doomed animal? What if writing the kuran, pigs did not exist in middle east...how would u even have known of such a law? Lets say, pigs only existed in australia...and when writing the kuran u ppl didnt know bout pigs...then tday u would have been consuming pork...how bout that? consequences?

I in fact am both an Atheist and a heterosexual.

There are white and black atheists, asian, middle eastern,

homosexual and heterosexual atheists,

tall ones short ones fat ones skinny ones,

smart ones dumb ones,

handsome ones like me, ugly ones like (dont know),

point is,

people got these stereotypes of who is an atheist,

i read a question yesterday about why are there no black atheists,
