They portray him as hoping, expectant, disappointed, etc. How is that even possible when you know the outcome already.

Uncle Thesis: No it isn't. Omniscience means that you know everything now. If you voluntarily decided not to know everything then you would not be omniscient any more. Did god turn on and off his own omnisicence light a light switch?

Uncle Thesis: The bible also says God is unchanging and outside time, so how can he be omniscient at one point and not at another when time doesn't exist for him?

For biblical god there is no future, no time since it's transcendent they can always fall back on the final argument which is humans cannot begin to understand it

I don't know who would have told someone that God already knows each and every choice that we will make - he doesn't, beyond knowing each of us, since we were there where we did know him, and he knew us, before we came here in the flesh.
This flesh earth age is a small parenthesis in our entire lives - birth opens the parenthesis and death closes the parenthesis. Then its back to our lives.
And I told ya, the flood was not to rid the earth of sin; just to kill off those hybrids of Angelic beings/human women = geba. They had to go.

So God, knowing Adams problems, created him anyways. Then how can God say, later, knowing that this was all going to happen, later destory everyone in a flood. He knew it would come to this Why didn;t he create Adam differently. How can he be angry at what he created, when he knew everything it would do ahead of time.

that would depend on how you viewed God in "knowing all." keep in mind, there are many who follow the teachings of jesus who doe not follow the evangelcial teachings of some.
the idea that "God knows everything" is cultural and based more on greek and roman cultures - and is not on a jewish understanding of God. the idea is that God set into motion the world around us, and how this turns out is on us not God.
traditional theologies have expressed God as a "micro-manager" but in reality God is a "macro-manager" - the idea is that God sees the big picture and is cool with that - not the little stuff of daily life.
because i do not see God as involved in my daily life, i think God can be disapointed in some of the crap i pull - i think God does hope for me to do better, and even expects me to go beyond myself and is disappointed when i do not.
think of it this way, i have a child, i do all i can to raise that child in love, grace and forgiveness - along the way that child move outside my love for her - she takes a live that i believe is harmful to her - her action cause me hurt and pain - not because i did not know all the answers, but because i love, i forgive and i seek to hold the relationship above all else. my love for her goes way beyond anything i think i might know about her future - because i seek to have her walk with me again.

The account of the flood mentions that he was going to destroy EVERYONE and THEN he noticed Noah, how did he overlook him the first time around?
He must have been distracted with all the praise from the angels

Your idea of omniscience is mis-placed.
Is an all-knowing God obliged to use that power in every instance?
You have the authority to drive.
Are you always driving?
There are occasions when God prefers to simply let things play out.
That shouldn't be hard to digest, should it?

He's a very human god, isn't he? Sure, he has the power of a god, but it's combined with all the flaws of humanity. Maybe it's just poor writing.

Maybe when he created wine he too was partaking in it and had more than his conscience could handle. Not knowing what he was doing he created two sides to the brain and organized it so the left side would control the right side and so on.....
