Not religion, but a relationship with Jesus.

He will DO IT , if you JUST ASK!
I PROMISE!

I will pray for you to take that step, and open your heart, and JUST TALK TO HIM, like you do a friend.
He IS THERE, listening.

Religion can not. God can. You are the creation of the most High God. He loves you and wants you to have a good life and a wonderful eternity. Know that because He created you, you are wonderful and worthy of a good and wonderful life. Drugs destroy your mind and your body and most of all, drugs can demean your spirit to the point where you no longer want to live. God wants you to live. Drugs are the enemy. He has promised to bring us His strength through the Holy Spirit. (That is the help you get)

Get into a good Bible based church and learn what God has provided to help you through the hard times. God Bless.

religion can't. relationships can. by being involved in a community of faith that seeks to walk in relationship with each other many problems can be overcome. but religion is simply a list of man-made rules that have little effect to day - i seek communities where people love each other, lift each other, help each other, forgive each others and are willing to out of their way for each other - that is the only way we can overcome the world around us.

Its Jesus not religion. Jesus has the power to deliver you from drug addiction and only he knows if you're sincere. If you have a bible read Mark 11:23-24. Ask him. He loves you. Everything about you is important to him. He set me free from cigarettes

Because its a new form of addiction.

A crutch for people who are mentally and emotionally weak - I've head lots of ex-junkies raving about Jesus.

They think its a strong point for believing in him but I don't tend to follow the thought patterns of screw-ups that admiringly.

People who have a strong faith whether it be in God or whatever, have something to go back on in times of trouble, pain, weakness, etc.. When you realize that life itself can give you some of the best "highs", from the beauty its Creator created, and some experiences in life, such as giving to others, you see everything in a different way. But the faith you have is what keeps you going.

IN the Bible God tells us that if we LOVE God we will obey him. 1John 5:3.

One Scripture that could refer to getting off all drugs is; "cleanse ourselves of every defilement of flesh and spirit." 2Cor. 7:1

So, we can prove we love God, by obeying Him, to use our body for His glory, by being clean. 1Cor.10:31.

This will take time for addicts to give up drugs, so as to have a clean body so that God will give holy spirit to put in us. Eph.2:22.

We worship what we put first in life. So, the Love of God and Jesus should in time open the hearts of those called fine soil, to respond to the counsel in the Bible. These will repent of idolatry. Rev.22:15.

After quitting addictions, we will receive the joy from the holy spirit, and find true happiness. Gal. 5:22.

people who do drugs are bind ed by a demon that has their self worth bind ed, the demon makes them think that their drugs relieve all guilt shame disappointments and all their pains and suffering, some even think that with out their drugs they cant function, you see someone who is bind ed by drugs has to call own the Lord their self's, and have to pray for this demon to leave them and never to return, If they do that it will go away, BUT! just as soon as this demon realizes that it is not tormenting them any more the demon comes back worse then before, If the person that has ask for this demon to leave them alone, dose not have God in their mind heart and soul when this demon returns, they will lose to this demon! And their drug problem will get worse then ever, BUT! if God is own their mind and in their heart and soul, when this demon comes back, You will beat this demon at its own game!, It is call trust and faith in God and self control of ones self,, and to trust in God for all things....God bless, Jesus is the answer for all problems, just call own Him He is waiting own all Just to call out to Him, and He will set you free of all evilness, God bless the USA and Israel and All

Faith works miracles though religion in general can be ridiculously disordered and misguided. The key is unconditional love, acceptance and a feeling of community. AA is the best path.

I don't know how a religion could help, but Christianity can help (Christianity is NOT a religion) because when you are trying to please God and doing a sinful thing, you find you desire to have it out of your life.
