You folks didn't seem to understand the question. I'm not asking for your opinion on the matter. I'm not asking what you think God thinks.

I want to know what YOU would do. Would YOU...given Godlike powers....sentence unbelievers and homosexuals to eternal hell?

Don't give me a cop out chicken answer....grow some spine and let loose.

Why are people attacking each other's beliefs with anger and incredulity rather than giving helpful info? Is this debate based more on fear than the desire to enlighten?

One of my projects in 1998 was to combine the four gospels, and I was able to do it successfully without contradicting any verses anywhere.

I compiled the entire text according to the RSV, a literal translation. It took me about 6 months.

Can you kindly point out where the gospels are in contradiction?

Everyone will be salted with fire. Salt is good but if salt loses its saltiness how will it be made salty again. Have salt among yourselves and be at peace with one another

The conservative Anglican/Episcopalian Church has begun discussion with the Roman Catholic Church about reunification under the Ministry of the Bishop of Rome. Active Homosexual Bishops Ordination, Women Ordinations seem to be bringing the Anglican Communion toward a Schism. Is this a good thing? Is it Biblical?

If there is no free will, or ability to make our own choices, does that mean there should be no consequence or accountability for our actions?

Good or bad, should heroism, or talant not be positively acknowledge or rewarded? Should criminal behavior not be punished or addressed?

I love it when anti-Christians go straight for the jugular! (Plus she called me "Punkin"!)

Would you believe that both genealogies are correct? (Wow! That will REALLY stir up the hornet's nest, won't it?)

See, guys, when you pretend to know what you're talking about and then forget to do your research, sly guys like me can slip in and make you look ignorant. Here's your homework: study Jewish traditions. It might help you. (Or you could just read Eusebius, who answered this question about 1600 years ago.)

Moses gave a law that when a man dies without children, his brother takes the wife and has children in his brother's name. This creates a paradox. There is a LEGAL lineage, from father to son, and a BIOLOGICAL lineage from father to brother to son, and Jews were required to keep both.

Matthew gives the LEGAL lineage, necessary for inheritence and proof of messiahship.

Luke gives the BIOLOGICAL lineage (and Eusebius actually names the brothers!)

It's got to be your god though.
If you just prove there is a creator that dosen't mean
it's your god. It's got to be specifically your god!
All evidence has to point to The Christian God.
I'm an Atheist and I'm certainly looking forward to your
responses.

I've read various descriptions, but the one that annoys me is the idea that it is a sphere. In most situations, the sphere construct just wouldn't work. Suppose you have a 9-foot sphere, bisecting the floor or ground. Even if you stand right in the center of the circle, part of your body would be outside the sphere (since it would only rise 4.5 feet off the floor).

What's your take on this? Do you see a 2D circle, a 3D sphere, or what?

If you don't know what I'm talking about, please just ignore the question. If Christians and atheists can ask questions that assume everyone else here is part of their groups, so can Pagans.

Okay..

A cat, is a cat, is a cat, right?
Well, the special things that make a cat ALWAYS a cat is the spirit.
And it goes from there...
An Oak Tree is an Oak Tree Is an Oak Tree.
It will always be an Oak Tree...

And some believe that over years and when environments change, we adapt to our surroundings, therefore changing the characteristics of the being and its continuous soul.

Agree? Or Disagree?
