I'm sure if the emaculate conception didn't do it, that the actual birth surely did.
people who believe that she was impregnated without having sex are incredibly naive. she told everyone that so that she wouldn't be stoned to death for having sex outside of her marriage. oh yes, Mary fooled around.

The legend of "virgin birth" and jesus' "divine conception" didn't start until many years after jesus' death. It began as an attempt to better fit jesus into the messianic prophecies of the jews.
Which is really ironic, considering the contradictions this brings up. One messianic prophecy says the messiah will be of the house of David, another predicts a virgin conception. But here's the problem -- Mary was not of the "house of David." And two gospel writers go to great lengths to establish Joesph's "house of David" lineage (and the two given lineages conflict in their descriptions, giving different lineages -- see the gospels of Mark and Matthew). But if Joseph wasn't jesus' father, then he has no bloodline to the "house of David."
SO...either Joseph *was* his father, giving him the bloodline that fulfills one prophecy, or his conception was divine and Mary was a virgin, fulfilling a different prophecy. But it can't be both -- which means one of the prophecies wasn't fulfilled by jesus. See the problem the gospel writers had to try and make up a solution for? :)
You do know it's all just myth anyway, right? That there was no virgin conception or birth...and that the catholic stance of Mary as "ever virgin" is even more ridiculous, given that Mary had other children by Joseph as explicity mentioned in the bible (James, the brother of jesus)...

No! The virgin Mary remains a virgin to this day. Jesus was born by Mary from the Holy Spirit that entered into her. No one EVER touched Mary. This is why she is Holy and Sacred. Also, this is why it's a miracle. It is said in the rosary about Jesus, "He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and was born of the VIRGIN MARY" :) You can also ask a Catholic Priest for more information.

What are you talking about. The word Angel means "Messenger". The Archangel Gabriel informed the Virgin Mary that she would be chosen to be the mother of the Messiah.

According to the accounts in the NT, Mary lost the signs of her virginity at the birth of Jesus...not at his conception.

Of course NOT!!! He never touched touched her in any way, so no. God has the power to do whatever he wants, and if he wanted for Mary to give birth to Jesus. Take Abraham for example. He was really old and he hadn't had a son. His wife Sarah was sterile, so GOD enabled him to have a son with Sarah, so do you think that would mean GOD empregnated her too? It's all in the power of faith. GOD works in mysterious ways. You just have to believe it in your heart.

No he didn't she knew no man sexually till she slept with Joseph. Jesus was conceived with out the act of sex and their really was nothing sexual about it. she was obedient to God and god blessed her by making her the mother of the son of God!
