Why is dying a sacrifice for jesus if he is really a god? Isnt it infact bliss for him to return where he came from? Why isit a sacrifice for a god(jesus) who possibly cant feel pain n have no worries bout dying? Whats the sympathy or deal about god giving his only son if he knew that his son was as powerful as him n so no one can possibly harm him? The worst could happen is jesus would die and go back to his father...so wads the deal?
Besides, why this complicated mechanism to remove sin? If god was so powerful he could jus wave his wand to remove our sins instead of putting up a drama down here?
Besides, what is the point in dying for our sins? I though god created us to see whether we r good humans so that we can share a place in his heaven? In that case, dyin for our sins sounds like a cheat code used in a computer game...pls do ans all...

I have always wondered why the death of jesus is such a sacrafice also. He knew he was the son of god... he must have known that he was going to heaven. And as for god having to "give up his only son".. aaawwww poor god, he had to give up a son that he randomly gave to a virgin and never raised. People die for causes all the time and they AREN'T the son of god. Why don't we just go ahead and worship them as well? it's all so stupid.

I'll begin with the beginning because Adam committed a sin in the garden of Eden. Since the sin was an infinite one, and Adam was a finite creator he could not undo the wrong. Jesus being God was infinite and undid the infinite sin. The Old Testament teaches the carry our burdens and to bare sufferings for God. Jesus came to earth to die for us and yes God could have just waved his hand and it could have been all OK. God did create us to share the bliss of heaven but due to the sin of Adam we can't unless we are free of all sin. That is actually a good way of looking at the death of Jesus as a cheat code.
The Holy Trinity is defined as three person that are perfectly equal in divinity and majesty. In this they all had to agree on things in this case Jesus being one of these three persons had to chose or come up with the idea to come to earth. The other two persons also had to agree with it. With the Father being what he is he must have felt immense sorrow at what his son was going to have to endure for us.

Jesus was made in human form. He felt the pains and temptations we all feel because He was not of this earth, but placed into it. as far as He being a sacrifice, all people sin. there must be an atonement for this sin. sin can not be with God since he is a holy God. God allowed his only son (Jesus) to pay or atone for the sins of man. God does want all mankind to return to him and flee from our sinful ways, but he gave us the freedom of choice. we can choose to believe in God and do as his commandments tell us or we can choose to follow our own sinful desires. allowing the torture of your own child is horrible. and since Jesus was placed into this earth, he felt severe pain through the scouriging and crusifiction. in the old testament man atoned for his sin by sacrificing the best animals of their flock. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice and He was given by God as a sacrifice for our sins. now what is left for us to do is believe in Jesus as our savior and to follow the dsires of God.

If Jesus had not paid the price for our sins and given us the gift of salvation, we would have to pay the debt of our sins ourselves, and paying that debt would not be pretty. Without the gift of salvation, we would not have a way of seeking our Lord's forgiveness for committing sins. When sin entered the world thru Adam and Eve, there had to be a way of redemption, and Jesus Christ is that way

Well, the idea is that Jesus was God, therefore he sacrificed himselt to himself because "without the shedding of blood, there can be no remission of sin" even though God was the one who made the rule.

Doesn't make much sense to me.

I guess it's sacrifice cos he died for the sins of people..but does that mean that his punishers get forgave..or the sins of every people get erased away?I mean..by sacrificing our life..what do we gain..besides pain and matyrdom..I don't get it as well!

Jesus' crux was also known as a sacrifice because he sacrificed his life to save our sins which is also known as a sacrifice. you see?? Because if you sacrifice your life and you die doing it, then you have been sacrificed and jesus gave himself up to save our sins and when you give in to something, you are sacrificing.
