If so, why not? I just want your personal opinion and a good argument on your side.

Which god did you have in mind?
I don't believe in any of them, because there's no compelling reason to do so.
May I ask, why don't you believe in Zeus?

I guess I tend to view the world from the opposite perspective. Other than the obvious lack of evidence of gods existence and despite the fact the the concept is totally lacking in logic, my real position is that I was born without any belief in god and have found no compelling reason to seriously consider changing it.

Being an atheist is a natural state being a Christian is an unnatural one therefore the question is "why would you (or anyone) believe in god?"

I don't have to argue my lack of beliefs. I have no belief in any religion or god or gods or saints or holy spirits or altars and all of that. Was once christian, very devout, then woke up and realized it was all manmade mythology. No substance, and most of what was being spewed at me in church was the minister's opinion, not what they were actually reading. I love their famous words after reading a verse: "What this means is" when often it never says that or even taken out of context can mean what they want to imply. Religion is manmade, and the religions of today are much different than they were 100 years ago since it is an evolving mythology that people are easily swayed into believing.

I don't. There is no evidence that there is a god. It isn't rational or reasonable to believe in things without any evidence to back it up. You would be stuck with hundreds of thousands of gods and everything else that human imagination could come up with.

Not believing in god, is the same as not believing in Odin, Zeus, Ra, Hera, The Great Spirit, Osiris, The Flying Spaghetti Monster and all the others. I would be no less surprised of evidence of Odin was found than I would be if evidence of your god was.

Does your God make you feel hope, love, joy, happiness, splendor, rejuvenation etc. etc. etc.?
Then what does it matter? Why argue whether good or bad? If it makes you feel better to believe in something that may or may not exist, why ask?
For the fun of it? For the sake of the argument? For the frustration you feel because some of us don't believe your God Exists?
If you had a true belief in your God, this is not the question you would be asking! If you had a true belief in your God the question you would be asking is.."How can I make you believe in my God!"
Hmm!

It makes me sad to think there are so many non believers on here.
God exists! How can everything in this universe exist without God?
God is Peace, Love, Knowledge, Wisdom etc.

Read the Quran and you'll find your answer.

Peace.

One day, you just wake up and can no longer believe the lie. It's as simple as that. There is no "grand" argument for demonstrating the non-existence of god. You simply have to open your eyes and reject the delusional fantasies you have been led to believe.

nope, I believe in Him. Why? Because I have lived life without Him, and it was a dark cold place. Ive been to the ocean, seen stars at night, seen snow covered mountains, flower field, a beautiful new born baby, and just cant believe in my heart that they were all made by chance. Faith is why I dont need any evidence, I know all I need by observing, by love, by prayer, the list could go on.

It's the best argument of them all- lack of evidence means I don't need to believe in God.

I don't believe in any god because I never had any sort of impulse or reason to do so, and every reason presented by others could be easily discarded as wishful thinking, hallucination, or manipulation.
