To believe the atheistic notion that events which defy natural law can take place naturally, without any supernatural intervention, is surely to believe in magic? Beliefs such as the ‘Big Bang’ theory, the spontaneous generation of life and progressive evolution, all defy natural law. But because these are purely naturalistic events, they are totally bound by the natural laws which govern matter/energy, and cannot possibly contravene them, under any circumstances. However, atheists choose to ignore this, and proclaim that such events, not only happened naturally, but are ‘scientific’ fact. What is more, they have the brazen audacity to accuse those who refuse to believe in THEIR MAGIC, of being uneducated, unscientific fools or superstitious cranks.

So, non-Catholics, or people who will BE starting RCIA can do everything in the Catholic church (use holy water, receive blessing, like St. Blaise, receive ashes, etc) except receive communion? Is this correct, or are there other things they aren't supposed to participate in?

why do people think that being rastafarian is just an excuse to get high when its not!!!???

This question has kept me from the church for 20+ years now and it is obviously still bothering me so I thought I would ask and hope I get some sort of reasonable answer from someone (once I wade through the garbage answers of course);

Why is it that a man can be sealed to more than one woman but a woman can only be sealed to one man?

All people resident to that region during that period were of a dark skinned orientation. much darker in fact than they are today. The only white people to have ventured into that region of any notibility were the roman's. Dont you think the bible would have mentioned the fact that this man who entered there lives and claimed to the son of god looked different from them and was in fact the same colour of skin as the invading romans?
All indications lead to the fact that Jesus was in all probability, black....as were the three wise men...as were mary and joseph, the list goes on.
Which also leads to the question, if god supposidly created man in his own image....is god black too?

WWJD? According to the Bible, Jesus welcomed the outcasts of society (beggars, sick, lepers, etc) to his table.
1.Wouldn't he do also welcome homosexuals if He were here today?

2.If not, shouldn't the judgment part be left to God?

If you do not believe it is important to read the Bible, please do not respond, I do not need any responses such as "Why am I reading this?" I would like to know what kinds of questions people ask themselves about the passage they are reading in the Bible so that they get more out of it. I often find myself just reading my Bible and closing it, and I don't think I get out of it all that I could. Any ideas?
