Whatever makes you think that they do. Yes, some who claim to be Christians (but how can a hater ever be a real Christian) will say they hate them. A TRUE Christian will say...I love them, they are my neighbor.

The Bible teaches to hate sin, not sinners.
1. Homosexuals are welcome to come visit the church as people visited Jesus.
2. To be sure God is going to judge them, are there Christian courts and lynchings of gays that are going on that I dont know about?
3. Animals merely act on instinct and in many there is a blind urge to have intercourse with whatever is in front of them, a tree, a leg, or even an animal of another species! But we are no animals so that is neither here nor there. WE are humans and have some serious flaws caused by sin in the world.
I would start worrying less about how we feel about it and worry about what God thinks about it! The sin of homosexuality is mentioned right in between child sacrifice to idols and beastiality; that is pretty much what he thinks of it. It is an abomination of the natural set created order.

It's dangerous to stereotype a group of people based on a few members. Not all Christians are the same! As a true Christian, I do not hate anyone, least of all those who choose a different lifestyle. I do not agree with their choices, since God condemns homosexuality, but I do not judge or persecute. You are right- only God has the right to judge His creation because only He can read our hearts. But no, I do not think Jesus would welcome homosexuals since he reflects God perfectly, and God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of their gross wickedness, which included homosexuality.
I know many people who are gay or lesbian, and I enjoy their company. Hating a person for their sexual preference is just as stupid as hating someone for their skin color, sex, or nationality.
Hate the sin, not the sinner.
And please stop stereotyping Christians. I don't go around saying all gay men are in fashion, or all athiests are bitter and self indulgent children. I say that only God can decide- and He will.

Jesus would not welcome homosexuals the same as he did beggars, the sick, lepers, etc. First of all the Bible does not consider being sick or poor a sin. It does consider being a homosexual a sin. Jesus himself mentioned Sodom about four or five times in warnings about the coming Judgement on the ungodly.
1. Jesus welcomes all sinners (homosexuals included) to repentance and forgiveness. What did Jesus say to the woman caught in the sexual sin of adultery - "Go and sin no more." What did Jesus say to the woman at the well - "The man you are with now is not your husband." What did Jesus say to the men about putting away their wives - "Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her." Jesus did not just ignore sin.
2. Pointing out a fault or a sin is not judgement. Sentencing is the judgement part. That homosexuality is a sin is not a judgement made by man, it is pointed out in the scriptures as a sin. Judgement would be for someone to say you are going to Hell. No one would ever be able to receive correction or instruction if simply pointing out a sin is considered wrongful judgement. If your Pop beats your Mom, you're not supposed to say that is wrong, lest your Pop says you are judging me? Common sense, pointing out a sin is not judgement.
3. Comparing ourselves to animals is not a good defensive stand. Scientists could say that you have a genetic leaning towards alcoholism, but it still would not absolve you of all responsibility for becoming an alcoholic. Even if serial killing is in your genetics, don't give in to it. That is one way in which man is different from the animals. We do not have to obey our selfish instincts.
People like to point out the sin of homosexuality, but fornication and adultery are sins also. In pointing out the sins of homosexuals we have to hope that we do not have a beam in our own eye. Do we readily accept fornicators and adulterers but ban homosexuals.
In all we should remember not to attack people, not to harm people, not to insult people, nor to curse people. God might have other plans for the person that we sentence or judge to Hell.

Well they shouldn't hate homosexuals. It sucks because as a Christian... we sometimes get a bad rap because of ONE person who is new to the whole christianity or who reads one thing in the bible and sticks to it. Being a homosexual isn't necessarily the sin... it's acting upon it. It's no worse than being an alcoholic or a drug addict, or a sex addict, etc... You can't help it, you can only work on it, you know what i mean? I have no hate towards any homosexual just as i have no hate towards anyone who has a sinful nature because we all do. I just think that we need to realize, confess and work on making ourselves more like Christ.

Most of us don't, as we are taught to hate sin, but love people.
WWJD? Jesus welcomed the outcasts, yes. But did he follow their practices? No. He influenced them to come to him. Matthew was a tax-collector (a cheat, a crook) and he became a disciple.
1. He'd treat them as people, but still not tolerate their sin.
2. Jesus is God. God judges all. We're ambassadors, and an ambassador shares the customs of their society.
3. there aren't. if an animal was gay, it would be
a) abandoned, as animals do not accept abnormalities
b) killed off, as if a male went to try to mate another male, that other male would either react violently, or see the other male as competition and try to kill it
c) you think there are gay animals? get off those beastiality sites. they play with your mind, and everything else.

1. Of Course he would.
2. Exactly
3. Don't bother with that one- animals don't have souls, remember?
I believe this little issue was added in later- probably after a war when the population was down, and people needed badly to rebuild a population. I'd be willing to place money upon it if there was a way to find out.

Jesus welcomes gays. Only He know what made each individual that way. Some where born that way and others became sexually perverted to experiment. Only God knows which is which so I don't ever judge them. I've known some really great gay people. That is something personal between them and God. As to why Christians hate gays, the bible says we shouldn't be gay, it says it's a sin. But as I said, they could've also been born sexually confused and who are we to judge them.

We Love homosexuals. Members of my family are homosexual. We hate the sin of homosexuality because it is behavior that will keep them out of Heaven. Animals are not homosexual, the behavior that they display is that of domination. Jesus lives through His Born Again Children and we do walk among the sinners of the world. We Love them very much.

You speak of gay people as if Jesus should pitty them. Are they not adults who choose their action? Sure judgment belongs to the Lord. I'm a Christian and have gay friends I don't hate them.
