Not sure from the way your question is structured what you are asking.
There is not a single piece of empirical evidence existing that proves the "theory" of evolution. While there is lots of entropic data, none of that data can be directly shown to refute the historical accuracy of the biblical accounts of creation.

Believe it or not, skeptics (who have something more intelligent to offer than straight religious dogma) have a role that is important. Science is constantly questioning. When evidence is found, their questions make us look for more and better evidence. That's what science is about. I am a believer in evolution, and there are some aspects of what we're taught about it now that I question. (Not because I desire to prove anybody or anything WRONG, and certainly not because I believe that a "higher power" had anything to do with it, but because I strongly desire to know the truth, and the more we look for the truth, the more we learn.)
If you're simply referring to states like Kansas, blatantly injecting religion into their school system, we don't need to make fun of them...the entire world will be doing that for us. Sad.

The only large group of evolution skeptics is composed entirely of Christian fundamentalists. The only way to fight fundamentalists is to show that the bible is not infallible.
The real battle for evolution is with the non-fundamentalist who must be shown the IDiocy of "Intelligent Design". Teaching children ID in science class is teaching them that science is wrong. Victory here for the fundamentalists will lead to attempts to present their dogma in geology, astronomy, and, ultimately, even physics and mathematics. The bible, after all, does declare pi to be equal to three. An excellent approximation for the time but definitely not true.
Unfortunately, IDiots have presented the argument as if their dogma was a theory which deserves equal mention. Unfortunately, they insist that the scientific method not be applied to their theory because, when it is, the evidence disproves it utterly. This attempt to pervert science education is the real goal of the IDiots and stopping should be the goal of all rational people of all faiths.

Hi !!!
No, there is no need to fight anything. But you can do one thing
you can, educate yourself, to make your point heard, and to come across.
Not everybody needs to believe, if they don't want to. Your point of view should be well respected, as good as the most respected men on this topics.
But that doesn't mean, that anybody needs to fight them, by simply NOT following or paying much attention to what you don't believe, will be more than enough at least for you, to live a more peaceful life!!!
GOOD BLESS YOU & HAPPY LIFE

Why would we make fun of people? That is not what God intended. Have you ever read a book by Lee Strobel. He was an athiest and as time past looking into the past and doing his research he wrote a book called "A Case for the Creator". I'd check it out and it will answer a lot of questions as how to approach those who believe in evolution.

Not really. If anything, you should point out to them if God is omnipotent and omniscient, couldn't He have had the ability to start the evolution process. However, most of the ones who don't accept the theory of evolution aren't going to change, so you'd be better off just to accept that and ignore them.

Evolution, as most religous people will point out, is nothing more than a theory. It's also a theory that I absolutely believe. I wouldn't want someone to call me stupid for believing this just as religious people wouldn't want to be made fun of for their beliefs. Lets just leave each other the hell alone.

The awful truth is that the religious fundies do NOT respect thinking outside the deity box. Do they know if they were born in Bandar Abbas instead of Detroit, they'd be reading the Koran right now??
Man. King James evolved, ya know?

Many have so much misinformation and refuse to accept science, the only thing left to do is make fun of them. When I see someone say, "species can adapt and change, but not evolve", I make fun of them. Since the definition of evolution includes adaptation.

What amazes me is that the religious community will doubt evolution, carbon dating and "half-life" carbon dating, and all of that scientific stuff and evolution. The speed of light and that light-years defy the belief of the universe being only 10K old.
With that said, the same people will freely accept this great science when it comes down to saving their own life in a medical situation, that is based on all of the things they disbelieve. When prayer alone is not enough.

Here's the kicker, we could just wait until they kill each other off. If they can't accept science, they really don't have a prayer of lasting all that long in the cosmic sense, especially since they like to fight with each other over whose God is best. They can yell about us at each other but they lose their grip more and more each day, I think we are best served to ignore them and wait them out.
