Each gospel is written by a different author. Each presents the gospel as it appeared to him. One should read all the gospels and get the total picture.

They do agree, they are not written word for word because they were not written by the same person--just goes to show how much more REAL God's word is, and how they were being carried along by the Holy Spirit....they all have the exact same story of Jesus, his death and resurrection.

They were written a long time later. Besides, most of the Bible contradicts other parts of the Bible. Why start looking for the why now?
