Three weeks of intensive rehab is enough to cure a man of homosexuality and drug addiction.

According to whom. As a former alcohol rehab therapist I can tell you that either you did not research your informtion well or used poor references. Oh, and as a retired psychologist...I did not ever claim to cure homosexuality, nor do I believe it needs to be cured.

The Yahoo guestion does not deserve an answer.

Speaking as a person who has several homosexual relatives, not a doctor, I do not believe that 3 weeks of "rehab" will "cure" anyone of homosexuality. Many people do not simply "become" gay, they sense something different about themselves throughout life. No doubt the people who choose these rehabs are deluding themselves into thinking that they can suppress a large part of their self. Unfortunately, many people are forced to do things that deny who they are by religious organizations thinking they know what is right for everyone. Regarding drug addiction, 3 weeks is not enough recovery time to wean the body physically off a drug, let alone the psychological aspects involved.

...One can be changed from the inside out by trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ, observe:
...Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old passed away, behold, new things have come.
... Now observe this passage from 1 Corinthians 6:
...9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,
...10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.
...11 Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.
...Did you see verse 11? Such were some of you - they were washed, sanctified, and justified in Jesus Christ.
...One can change is he follows Biblical principles, observe Ephesians 4:22-24:
...22 that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit,
...23 and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
...24 and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth
...Puf off the old man, renew the mind, and put on the new man, for Biblical change.

...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved. (Acts 16:31)
...Whosoever will, may come.

You need to be admitted into a twelve step intervention program for ignorance. Homosexuality is no more an 'addiction' or 'disease' than being born with hazel eyes, being left-handed or being 5 ' 6" tall.

No. There is only one cure available that is successful. That is the Power of the Holy Ghost. And we get that by repenting of our sins, washing them away in water baptism in Jesus name, and we will receive the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in an unknown language. Then we have the power to overcome all sinful behaviors.

No, but evidently it's enough time to return to the state of Deep Denial. The world of religious business/ chicanery never sleeps.

I think yahoo question addiction takes about as long to cure as it takes to cure gay discriminating fundamentalists of their hatred.
