There are black Jews. Israel took in many during the Ehtiopian famine....in fact they took in many that were just descended from Jews.

I haven't been to synagouge often, but when I have gone, there is usually at least one black family.

I even once saw an entire web site dedicated to black Jews and the problems they face as Blacks, Jews, and blacks in Jewish society.
