Jesus is the son of God, right? I believe the sun, that rises every morning is Jesus in all his glory. Have you ever wondered how the whole world will see when Jesus comes back? The Earth is going to burn right, how? by the sun. Genesis does not say God created a sun to give light, it says and then there was light for the day and the "stars" were to give light for the night. Maybe not in those exact words but you get it. The reason I bring this up is because I seen on the news where a man did not eat for 411 days, he only had water. He was fed by the "Sun". He spent time every day gazing into the sun. "Sun Gazers". they stand barefooted outside and stare at the sun. I am going to try this so I can know for sure. Praise God. If I go blind then I guess I made the wrong decision? Peace.

In other words, is belief in God the only reason the average Christian doesn't run around raping and murdering whoever he or she wants?

If God said that stealing or murder was moral and just, would theists be killing and mugging everyone around?

If God's word is NOT the main place Christians get their morality from, why is it so often assumed that atheists are morally compromised compared to theists?

Here's a chance to show me that you really do understand evolution and still find it to be flawed. Do a good job with these definitions and I'll take your arguments against evolution seriously.

Define in your own words, without looking at Wikipedia or any other reference:

- Inclusive Fitness
- Allele
- Reciprocal Altruism (biologically)
- Selection
- Insertion (don't be crude here)
- Frame Shift
- Unequal Crossover
- Pleiotropy
- Homoplasy

If you don't know these terms, then you can't dismiss evolution because you don't understand it!!!

This is an extension based on the answers I got before on the verse Matt 27:25 "His blood be on us and on our children."

1. Stoning took place all the time in Jesus' time. It's in the NT. Saying that the Jews couldn't stone Jesus is paradoxical at best.

2. Jesus' supposed crime was supposed to be blasphemy against God. It was not a political crime - hence Pilate shouldn't have even been involved. So, which was it - a relgious or a political crime?

3. There were other Messiah figures at the time put to death by being nailed to the cross. The Romans had no problem with this. Pilate thought he was innocent. Hence - there was no political crime so he wouldn't have been crucified.

4. Saying that the reason they didn't stone him because it wouldn't have fulfilled prophecy is pretty bad. Christians pride themselves on being historically accurate - that the bible can be 'proved'.

I actually want answers - I'm not askings to attakc Christians, etc.

So many people calling themselves Christians bash our Church and mock our beliefs. Their attacks are usually based on false or incomplete information due to either a lack of communication with Catholics or a lack of education about us. Why do that? Is Jesus the Prince of Peace or the Prince of picking arguments with other folks? Could you please stop?

If God is all-powerful, then there is nothing he can't do.
If there is nothing he can't do, then isn't it true that the answer to the question "can God exist and not exist at the same time?" must be "yes?"

In addition, isn't an omnipotent God perfectly capable of existing in an infinite number of forms, and no form at all, at the same time?

I'm not asking if he ACTUALLY does this. I'm asking if he could if he wanted to.
