I hate this stupid ghost it won't leave me alone. I want to make it suffer, fear, and then destroy it.

You can't be talking about the Holy Spirit. You are talking about an evil spirit or a familiar spirit similar to a demon spirit and they have one intention only and that is to destroy you. Get a Bible and continually say the name of Jesus and read the Bible out loud. Call your pastor or priest and let him know what is going on with you.

If you believe in Jesus and ask for forgiveness, it may not be too late.

Here's a serious answer for your little question. "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him [God] which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Matthew 10:28 If you believe you are being bothered by a real spirit, better not try to handle it all by yourself.

Quit hating it and embrace it. The spirit needs help or it would not be bothering you. By helping it on it's way you will be free of it. You have a great opportunity to open your mind and learn from the encounter. Do not waste it.

You can make it leave.
James 4:7 states:
"Oppose the Devil, and he will flee from YOU.. . ."
So don't show any interest in anything that happens.
It worked for Jesus:
Matthew 4:10-11 states:
"Jesus said to him: “Go away, Satan! For it is written, ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service. Then the Devil left him,. . ."
You'll note Jesus used God's name which is Yawheh really.
That's in harmony with Proverbs 18:10
"The name of Jehovah is a strong tower. Into it the righteous runs and is given protection."

It takes a whole lot more to destroy a Spirit than the Body it lives in (if it has one).

Jehovah GOD and Jesus are the only ones that can destroy a spirit. Just pray to Jehovah GOD about this problem.

Ask it to go away. If it won't , take other measures. Remember though, anything you do returns to you three times and that includes anything you do to spirits.
