stole his rib

and let him try to figure out which one he couldn't eat from?

The tree of knowledge was in the middle, midst, center of the garden, it was not to be touched, to touch it meant death. Obey God, If he says do not touch the tree in the midst of the garden, do not touch it. There may be dozens just like it, but be sure not to touch that one tree. Gen.3:1-5; Do not listen to a serpent or and angel, or any one but God. Rev.12:9; God is the source of life, he knows how to help all keep that source if any are willing to listen. Isa.42:5;

Well, obviously you weren't there.
Here's what I saw:
The Tree of Life was smack dab in the middle of the garden.
Hard to miss .....like a bellybutton.
Its not stated where the Tree of Knowledge was located, nor if it looked different.
Nevertheless, it looked like a tree, otherwise why the term?
God is fair, so we can conclude it was well indicated.
The point wasn't to fool Adam.
The point was to see if he would remain faithful.
