I have not asked them about their religion because we are at work but I overheard them saying they go to a mennonite church. Or a mennonite brothern chruch. I know their kids go to private christian school. How does the Mennonites differ from christianity?

I heard there is scientific evidence for the existence of not only a God, but that there is hard, concrete evidence that has been tested in a laboratory environment, using the scientific method that proves that the Christian religion is the only true religion and every major thing about it is correct.

Is this true?

Please advise what does the Quran say about the use of alcohol/wine. Quote verse if it prohibits. I understand that some use of alcohol/wine is allowed or not prohibited in Quran.

They say that an enlightment persone always stays in the present moment , but what happen if this person have a conversation whit another person , you have to think , and think is always the past and NOT the present moment.
If this true than you can NOT stay in nirvana forever , but am i wrong ?

Please, please please, just once - could I not get some half-witted smart mouth insult/quip about me and/or Christianity and just get nice, sincere answers from fellow Christians, please? PLEASE?

Ok. Here's my question - I find that I care too much about what people think of me. I mean, even people who hate me(especially people who hate me), even people who have said they never want to talk to me again, I still think about them and pray for them and wish we were friends. Even people who never really knew me and I met once or twice, I think about them - especially if they were mean in some way to me... isn't that messed up?

Anyway, my question is - how can I get my eyes off other people and stop viewing myself the way people who don't like me view me, and start viewing myself the way Jesus views me? I guess it's a problem with self-esteem? What do I do about it?

If you believe in them, then how do you explain the fact that ghosts in sightings always seem to be wearing clothes.

The clothes are usually described not to be made out of ordinary materials. In other words, your hand would go through it just like it would go through a ghost.

So, if you believe in ghosts, then that probably means that you believe in ghost clothes.

Now, I know that religion sets up people not to question things, but if you really think about it, this is a valid question.

Put this way, the concept of ghost clothes seems silly.

This argument isn't meant to prove anything. All it serves to do is to get you to examine the probablity of it existing.

So, if you believe in ghost clothes, who makes them? Can ghosts change their clothes? Do they have a closet somewhere that they store the ghost clothes in? Are there ghost hangers?

Im with a husband a preacher of different religion.. Im catholic ..of course If i dont approve of his religion i wont follow him cos its my right.. the problem is his mom and dad and uncle who are also preachers.. they wanted me to be baptized to them.. I never wanted though.. Is it right for them to force me?? What shall i do? they think of me as a lousy wife cos of that.

I'm not allowed to give up meat for lent because my mom said it would be too much trouble to make a seprate meal every night. I am old enough to make my own meals (i do most days) and i barley eat meat anyways. What should I do?

i mean, i can use my imagination to see how a one celled creature could "evolve" into another form, some creatures, such as butterflies do it today. but i think it is stretching it some to believe that they could decide to become this or that, which is what they would have to do, otherwise all life on earth would be the same.

So It was said that Satan was cast into hell when he was trying to take over heaven. In saying this did this happen before Jesus are after Jesus rebirth. I was told that he could sing and play every instrument there ever was. In saying this that mean that God opponent was Satan and if that's so than there had to be a life before Adam and Eve because they say Satan caused Eve to eat the apple.So what angels where Satan leading in heaven first. Who where the angels since the first people where Adam and Eve. And I thought to become an Angel you had to be died and God pick you according to your belief upon life. Another question is Peter,James, John and other disciples are they in heaven or will they to be judge when the final days are here. You see I was told that when your in heaven then you have accomplish and believed in God and with saying that how did betray take place in a place to known to man for no more suffering and pain.How did a bad person get past God if he knows.

He or she would immediately be the greatest scientist of all time provided the proof was actual and not simply asserted.

It is ridiculous to think that scientists are actively trying to disprove God, they are simply dealing with the evidence.

I've seen/read thousand of debates concerning Islam vs Christian, Bible vs Quran, Jesus vs Muhammad, etc. All have their own arguments, and it seems to me that it would lead to nothing. They're all have been trying to use their knowledge/resources to support their arguments and to prove that the other sides are wrong. But I have one most important thing that we all need to consider:
1. Are true (not fake) muslims (or 'Allah' or Muhammad followers) believe that they will go to heaven (instead of hell)? Any guarantee for it?
2. What about christians (The follower of Christ 'not' just fake christian)? Is there any guarantee for being saved and go to heaven?

I don't understand why people think that Christian's are the ones who are dening that the Holocaust didn't happpen. I'm a Christian and i know that the Holocaust happened. There is no doubt in my mind or the minds of my family that it happened. Im also German so at a very young age we are taught about germany and what it was like. It's not all Christians that deny it it's the people who don't want to see how a whole rase can be descriminated against. I guess I don't understand how it can be Christians because most of us understand what happened and can say that it did happen. There is so much proof in this world that it's hard to believe that someone can deny it.

And no, don't try and marry religion and evolution together and say, "God created evolution"; 'cause I'm ahead of such mediocre drivel.
