I sometimes spend time self-reflecting or praying to God, and my friends find that I think differently to most ppl...one of my friends also said it is very good of me to have self-awareness, since I spend most of my free time thinking about how I relate to God and ppl in general, about my imperfections & how to improve myself...is this ok?

You can't. That's why we know God did it. Could you do that? Of course not. So much for your "theory", huh?

Being a Baha'i, and believing that there can be no compulsion in Religion, and in the necessity in universal education of both science and religion; I am wondering who else thinks in order for everyone to make informed choices in life, whether religious, secular, or otherwise, that everyone must be informed of all things conducive to an informed choice. For example: Knowing all religous basics, includiong atheism, agnosticism, scientific rules, etc, and various other creeds, would seem a must, if we are from our youth to choose for ourselves beyond ourselves... Please give details of how you think this could best be achieved, in practice; or whether it should, or even could, be taught as such, non-partially, at all.

Shouldnt it be common sense for you to love and care for people and treat them as loving and caring as you want to be treated? Why do u need to be told this?

I once asked my Christian friend why it is wrong to kill. He told me: "Because Jesus said not to kill".......................um.................ME personally I don't kill because i know i would not want others killing me or my family . I dont need Jesus to tell me why. Why does my friend?
He couldnt answer it. Maybe you could?

We're all selfish..its a survival instinct but we all have a conscience and should know that if we didnt act civil towards each other ..it will only lead to anarchy. right?

Please no bible verses. I want to know your thoughts through your own words.
Thanks.

I mean it can't accept people forever, so what will happen? I think they will start filling up hell, then God will stop making people die and the world will overpopulate.

Most infidels don’t even consider the Quran to be a big deal. They say a village idiot can come up with such a book. They claim that many people have written much better books than Quran. But I ask them, can anyone match the apostle’s lovemaking prowess? Can they at the age 60+ make love to 10 young women in a single night? Yes, the apostle could do it. That is an irrefutable proof of his prophethood, which cannot be duplicated.

Bukhari,Volume 1, Book 5, Number 268:

“Prophet was given the strength (sexual) of thirty men”.

Apostle could make love (continuously) to all his wives (9 to 11) in one night.

Volume 1, Book 5, Number 268:

"The Prophet used to visit all his wives in a round, during the day and night and they were eleven in number. Prophet was given the strength of thirty (men)."

Bukhari,Volume 7, Book 62, Number 6:

The Prophet used to go round (have sexual relations with) all his wives in one night

Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 5, Number 270:

Aisha said, "I scented Allah's Apostle and he went round (had sexual intercourse with) all his wives."

You know how when you were little, you went to sunday school and learned all the happy things about God? Well when I was little I learned about the deep dark parts of religion like demonds living in people and mostly all the things you will go through if you are not a christian. My parents were involved in ministry of casting demonds out of people back then. I feel like I didn't learn things in order. Most people learn about the happiness of God and that they are born sinners. I learned that I am going to hell or the rapture is going to take place and I will be left behind if I'm not good.So all my life I felt that I need to go to church and pray to God out of guilt. Instead of wanting to, I feel like I have to. I'm always paranoid that I am left behind and I search rooms to make sure my family is still there. When I do anything wrong I feel super guilty. It took me a very long time to realize that I am a sinner if I can help it or not. What can I do to feel like I want to and not have to?

At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the Nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

but i was told that there is a past and a present but not a future.

Wyrd is the Lady of the Past.
Verdrand is the Lady of the Present.
and Skuld is the Lady of Necesity, Obligation and Debt.

There is no Future, and many Ásatrúar believe that Prophecy is just an event that 'Might' take place but like that Giantesses Prophecy there is achance it shal not come to pass.

So does this mean that Ragnarok might never come?
that Odin might not Die at the hands (teeth) of Finrir?

I'm always hearing people say you must have blind faith in God.
Why? Is it because there are so many holes in the bible that you must turn a blind eye to believe it?

I have not met any muslim women who had it forced on them, the hijab, and I've been to a few different Islamic countries. No, I didn't grow up with it, I converted and am whiter than most due to the fact that I am an American (PROUD TO BE ONE). I don't "look like a goat" and am not "arab" so you can't use that excuse. Why don't you get it that there are women who have self respect? Why don't you hate nuns then? Or Mary(am) the mother of Jesus (PBUH) because in every depiction of her, she's veiled. Why target only muslim women when you don't even know the entire story? I personally love wearing hijab. I don't feel the "need" to hide myself, I LIKE to hide myself. I get a kick out of the men who think they have some right to see me getting angry that this woman refuses to be seen as a mindless piece of meat. I am college educated and graduated in December. I used my rights and didn't let anyone exploit them or trample them. Many muslim women feel this way. What's your issue?
