We are warriors for Christ and it is our God-given duty to spread the gospel of our Lord and Savior wherever there are unbelievers and infidels. If we don't war, the Muslims win! America is a CHRISTIAN nation! As long as I fight the war for Jesus I am going to Heaven to sit somewhere at his table with my family and enjoy the view of all the unwashed, unsaved burning in Hell forever.

So, where did all the water come from? (yes I know it was rain but anyone who has been to school knows the process)
Afterwards, where did the water go to? There is only a fixed amount of water on earth.

During the butchering of the people of Fez, the streets literally ran red with the blood of martyered Christians. Muslims dipped their caps in the blood as a testimony to Allah. These caps were eventually calles fezzes and are a badge of honor with the Islamic sword and crescent on them. Are these religions related?

I have more questions than answers and pray for more faith all the time. But I'm well educated and a visionary type who believes the church has much to offer. I teach mission friends for the children and have given up adult teaching partly for like of preparation time partly for lack of something similar to inspiration.

Now, I've been asked tonight by the pastor to participate in a special long range planning commitee and am not sure if I should.

It all makes me feel like a fake sometimes and that is not what I want to be. But I also feel I can make some good contributions.... Aaarg!

What are you opinions/thoughts?

... and yes I'm studying my faith and bible, but nothing comes easily to me. Blind faith is something I've not been given grace for.

when did science start forming a conclusion then search for data to prove the conclusion. Doesnt the scientific method say that we form a hypothesis, obtain data, then form the conclusion? In the cases of global warming and evolution they are starting with a conclusion and searching for data to prove it. Why do they throw out data that doesn't fit their model?

You have the ability to give mankind the cure and treatment to every disease that ever has been or ever will be. Basically people will live very long lives until there body simply “wears out”. Only unnatural causes like accidents and murder will end people’s lives early. As gratitude man kind will give you whatever you want (anything they can provide) for the rest of your thousand or so year life.

In return you will spend an eternity in hell when you die. (for those that do not believe in hell please pretend it exists).

Or you can be guaranteed eternity in Heaven, but no cure for mankind.

which one will you Pick? Cure and hell or Heaven and no cure?

rather than claiming it is a dinosaur.
The verse doesn't lose any of its meaning and you don't have to force the issue of dinosaurs living in the age of men. sounds win win to me.

I was born Christian, but have long since renounced that faith. I currently consider myself an atheist, but I don't want to reject all religion simply because the faith of my family isn't right for me.

I want to know where I can learn about other, less common religions, particularly pagan ones, that would be more in line with my liberal beliefs.

The theory of evolution says that some 3.5 billion years ago there was a large inorganic soup of nitrogen, ammonia, salts and carbon dioxide bubbling away. Out of this noxious caldron arose the first single-celled algae which evolved over time to our present computer age. Where did this bubbling organic soup come from?

Today, it was a complete surprise to NBC of the overwhelming positive response they received to this morning's poll:

Do you believe in God?

NBC this morning had a poll on this question. They had the highest number of responses to any poll to date, and the percentage was as follows:

86% of Americans responded in favor to keep the words, "IN God We Trust" on the U.S. monetary currency, and "God" in the Pledge of Allegiance, and ONLY a mere 14% of Americans polled were against these issues.

That is a pretty 'commanding' public response.

Why should the majority 86% of Americans in favor have to abondon their stand and cater to the desires of the minority 14% of Americans, since majority rules?

Where did the creator spring from. He had to come from some where. Everything we know has come from the bible, why come I have not seen not one paper that Peter,Paul, John etc. have written proveing this to me. I can find anythings else but nothing like that. You see I ready to convert but I have some unanswered question and he says seek and you shall find. I refuse to not know enough about God and Jesus because I was told the God is Jesus. When the days are near for the dead to rise and judgement day is here and not know in my heart what really happened. You go to other countries and the really don't reconize him as Jesus maybe he's known for other names etc. Why would God give he only son to have what happened in the past to happen again. You see because God knows whats going to happen before it happens. So he knew that the world was going to get worse before better and that's why Revelation is going to happen. Pleae help me! I feel like some present is provoking these ?'s

There are a lot of people who subscribe to no particular religious belief system other than basic theism who say that their examination of the data lead them to a belief in God. Anthony Flew is one of them. He wrote most a lot of the philosophy of science for logical positivism in the 1960’s and later came to believe there was a God. Therefore, I find people such as Dawkins who claim that all who believe in a God are being irrational and delusional as making an overstatement. I think that Flew is in fact an example of an intellectually honest person who reached a different conclusion. Is the fact that there are philosophers and scientist who come to believe in God because of their studies counter examples to the argument that all theists are delusional and irrational? I think that Flew certainly would be because he wrote so much about the need for falsification in scientific study. If he used his own method, and came to a positive belief then he would be at least one case.
