respect God. Stalin didn't believe in God, Mussolini didn't believe in God. Most all Communists are Atheist. As are Czars. Yeah, I know there were wars in Biblical times but have wars, non religious wars, gone away? Remember the holocaust? Good company you keep ! (Not)

The Czars were Russian Orthodox, actually. Hitler might have been an atheist. He seemed to believe in a lot of occult crap, but I've seen people on Yahoo answers who are into the occult but claim somehow they're atheists . I'll say it's a possibility (but Hilter was still evil). to his credit, I have read Mussolini was an atheist, and Hitler did follow Nitzche's writings, and I do remember a few years ago Nuremberg documents were released that claimed Hitler was going to eliminate Christianity after WWII if he had won. Just being honest. Like I said, it still doesn't mean I would want to be a Fascist, Communist or Nazi even if they were atheists!

At any rate, even if they were atheists, it doesn't mean I have to be a mass murderer too, does it? I believe in live and let live and not trying to force what I believe on others.

That's what separates me from the other people you named.

non-zoroastrians: So if you didn't have to believe in Ahura Mazda or become a follower of Zoroaster whilst here on earth, then passed over, and found out there always WAS Ahura Mazda, And Heaven and He did Love you, And He did Create You, Just like the Zoroastrians had said, and it was just as beautiful and peaceful, Loving, no sickness or disease, and where the streets are made from Gold... and fact was, that you COULD Live Forever with Him in Heaven, and your friends, relatives and loved Ones, if you Repented and Bowed down and Worshiped Him, or go to the other place...... What would you do. I would probably do the same in both cases - worship God or Ahura Mazda. Because your hypothetical example can be put in the language of nearly any religion, it provides no reason to worship God (at least no more than to worship Ahura Mazda.) In fact we could even flip your religion around and make it so that Satan is actually in control of the universe and will give you heaven if you worship him. Then your logic would lead to you rejecting God. These are all remotely possible hypothetical scenarios and not worth thinking about unless you are stoned.

Oh yeah, like Christians are in good company. I'll take a handful of wackos over the Crusades, the Inquisition, the Burning Times, St. Patrick, the murder of the Druids and their sacred groves by the Christian Romans... All cultures have their wackos and considering "all things not christian" is a big category, we have a lot less to answer for then the xtians. No atheist, or pagan "church" of any kind every enorsed Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini. Not all communists are bad people, they just have a different economic ideal, and some of the Czars were good people some were bad, as were the kings and queens of all of Europe. Most of those poeple guilty of committing the horrible crimes in the Holocaust were, in fact, christians. Christians have slaughtered more Jews, Muslims, and pagans in the name of their "loving and peaceful" religion. Does not your own belief say, was it not in fact your own Christ who said, "lethe who is without sin throw the first stone"? Keep slinging those stones, we all know the scars and sin you carry.

If you're an American, read this:

AMERICAN SERIAL KILLERS
John Wayne Gacy
Kenneth Bianchi
Angelo Buono
Ted Bundy
Alene Wuornos
Jeffrey Dahmer
Richard Ramirez
Charles Ng
Leonard Lake
Robert Lee Yates
And the list goes on and on:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:American_serial_killers

Even if you had your facts straight (which you don't, by far), would be it fair to say that since these Americans listed above were killers, that all Americans are idiots for keeping such company? Stupid comparison, yet you use the same logic regardng religion.

Btw, get your facts straight next time.

Hey, another great example is The Spanish Inquisition. Ferdinand and Isabella ordered this inquisition, and THEY believed in God, and were Spaniards as well of course. Thousands were tortured, killed, terrorized, and exiled. Would you say that all Catholics, and especially Spanish Catholics, should cease being Catholic and Spanish because of the company they keep? COME ON.

Buzzz.... try again.

Wow. I'm not an atheist, non believer, or Darwinist. But your facts are very wrong. What website did you get this drivel off of?

Hitler most certainly DID believe in God. In fact he raided Austria just to get into a particular church that held a relic believing he needed that to show the world, and God that he was all powerful. Stalin? Well Stalin was most certainly one of the most atrocious and disgusting rulers but he did believe in God. Mussolini? LOL Mussolini was so damn Christian that it's pathetic! But he loved power more, and that is what he chased after. Regarding the Communists, most certainly they are atheistic, however many are actually, *gasp* Jewish! The Czars? My gosh they were Catholics man. READ YOUR HISTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What about the Holy crusades? The Holy war over land in the middle east? The Knights Templar? Napoleon? There are just as many wars and historical slaughterings that have occurred in the name of God. Not just in biblical times but right now. The middle east has been fighting for the holy land that contains ancient temples for centuries. This is still ongoing and the mortality rate is phenomenal. Our very own President has said his decisions are affected by his relationship with God. He is a christian and sent our troops over seas to war.

Next time you try and make a point, try considering all different aspects, because your argument now is very weak and contains nothing that cannot be countered. Nice try though

Hitler was a devout Catholic, and wrote of his belief in religion dozens of times in Mein Kampf.

Czar Nicholas II was a conservative Christian.

All staunch Communists, including Stalin, are opposed to organized religion (not atheist, there is a difference) because they view the state as being the only organ that should control all facets of life.

You, are ignorant or misinformed. Do some research before making such ludicrous claims.

How old are you, I wonder?! So you are a believer, but your argument has got more holes than a fisherman's net:

1. People who collaborated for the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ were believers (Jews).

2. People who went on a witch-hunt and killed 10s of 1000s of innocent women in Europe, intimidated and killed scientist and burnt valuable books were believers (Catholics).

3. Priests who molest young boys were believers (Catholic)

4. People who abused, molested and forced Native Americans to convert into Christianity were believers (Christians)

4. Napoleon Bonaparte was a believer (Christian)

5. Hitler was believer (Christian)

6. The guy who blasted the Oklahoma building was a believer (Christian)

7. Charles Manson was a believer (Christian)

8. George Bush is a believer (Christian)

9. Poser of this foolish question is a believer

10. Old time imperialists, who occupied other countries and blood-sucked their economy, were believers (Christians British, French, Dutch, Italian, etc.)

11. Prisoners who are cramming the American prisons are not all non-believer, or of different religion.

12. People who blasted the twin towers (9/11) are believers (Muslims)

13. Usama Ben laden is a believer (Muslim)

14. Most of the war monger in the Pentagon and the US administration are believers (Christian/Jews)

15. Soldiers who are killing children and innocent civilians and raping innocent women in Iraq are believers (Christian)

My fingers are tired, therefore I'll just give you this piece of advice. And it is based on the Bible:

IF YOUR HOUSE IS MADE OF GLASS, DO NOT THROW THE OTHER'S WITH STONES.

I noticed that rather than answer the premise of your question, they nitpick at some inaccuracies. The Czars were orthodox, Hitler was Catholic (that might have been politically motivated). But your premise is true. Atheists have caused many wars. In ancient times wars existed, and they weren't due to religion, they were due to power, control, territory and wealth. There would be war without religion, atheists just need a reason not to like religion. War seems to be the reason. Their other reason is people preaching, but why are they here listening to the preachers? Another one is Christians effect political decisions, even though the world is becoming less Christian with every election. They have no argument, and don't listen to reason. They just preach hate.

Does it matter? My dad's an atheist, did he kill thousand of people? Nope. I never knew any of the people you've mentioned so I chose not to simply take what you say as fact; that wouldn't make much sense would it? I don't really care what others believe, I make choices based on what I observe, and I what I believe to be true. I don't like to just go with the flow and believe in god because it's what all the "good" people of the world do. Poor argument you have here.....
