Is there a real need to read both books, or are they quite similar in the topics they cover?

Do they preach their self-righteousness at you, when they should keep it to themselves? Do they get angry when their hypocrisy is exposed? And what can be done more to combat this rising tide of ignorance in society?

The splitting of seas, water into wine, world wide floods which include a boat with an impossible amount of animals on them, etc. Miracles of this calibre are throughout the bible.

i have just read an article by DR Zakir Naik
about the Existace of Allah (God)

what i want to know is....are u truly willing to believe in God if somone could actually convince u that God exists?
or is it too late to blieve and that you already have your evidence that God doesnt exist?
i just felt like asking an Atheist this qustion because Athiests do not believe in God at all a believer has his own beliefes (right or wrong) maybe he inharited his beleifes as most of us did but a non believer chose his own way

King David killed his own(in war)friend to married his wife.
Similiar to the story the Helen of Troy.

Jesus godly father and earthly mother.
Similiar in the story where Hercules father was Zeus(King of the gods)and his mother was Alcmene.

Jesus sacrifice himself for the whole world.
Similiar to the story where Prometheus sacrifice himself by giving fire as a gift to the humans.

Universal flood that save only a few people.
Similiar to the Epic of Gilgamesh and the ancinet Greek Mythology where King Deucalion and and his wife Pyrrha were the people who are the only one was saved in the flood.

Too bad we can't sue religion for copyright infrigement.

Really, I am not asking to make fun. I just want to know why, in religious quotes, certain words are always CAPITALIZED. I've seen this consistently - so what's the reason for it?

It is my thinking that as the woman go. So goes the nation. In studing the history of the US. I see a strange thing happening across the time frame of current US history which leads me to think that woman have actually lead to the moral decay of this nation. Once the good god fearing woman of this nation took up axes and destroyed bars and taverns and burned then down. All to protext there families. Today woman in this nation sleep with everything that walks. There seems to be no end of the decay of modern woman. Woman are murdering the children in there own wombs at a rate of 4600 a week. Woman are kidnapping there children and keeping them from there fathers all in sport, having a good time. So my question is why are woman attacking there own husbands to cover up there own sins? Why should God honor woman and there vast sins? Are woman still the weaker vessel as God has said? So if woman are such a power house for God then why are they murdering children?

We are undisputably the most vicious and destructive creature ever. We have destroyed the environment, torn each other apart, raped and pillaged far worse since our creation as an 'intelligent' species. We call each other 'inhuman' when one commits Evil, but Evil is truly a characteristic more than ever applied to humans in our 'enlightened' age.

The only other creatures to form armies and attack each other that we know of are called ants. So, does this make us on par with insects?

pissing and moaning about things.
Does no one understand that LIFE IS NOT FAIR?
That there are things more important than themselves?
I seriously wonder what the future will hold for some of you people that hold the notion that, NO ONE CAN TELL ME WHAT TO DO, and THOSE that say THATS JUST THE WAY I AM, EVERYONE ELSE has a PROBLEM.
As I GREW UP, I learned these things. I also increased my FAITH and became a BETTER PERSON as I became more responsible, first for a wife, and then 2 Children.
Just how many of you will be the same shallow people that you appear to be on here in 15 YEARS? And NO this isn't a rant, this is an honest question that should make you take a hard LOOK at yourself.

I heard (for some reason I can't explain from where) that vedas are deliberately kept hidden by religious authorities. I mean generally you often hear about ramayan path and mahabharat path etc. But never come across veda path like. I relgious friend told me that you can't get full veda with all chapters included. Most chapters are omitted from print version.

I've never been baptised although I've always wanted to be. I don't belong to a church though (I work at a Unitarian church but I am a Christian). I've just started taking my faith more seriously and I'd like to be baptised. Do I have to belong to a church to do so? I'm just not sure about how to go about doing so? I would appreciate any responses . . . thank you.
