(No, u will not literally find the words Jesuit Order in the bible.) This question is not meant to strike fear in people ("God did not give us a spirit of fear..." - 2Timothy 1:7) but rather help us to better understand bible prophecies while spreading God's love (if u don't truly know about the subject, u won't understand what I am saying here....but get understanding). I'm looking for biblical answers that will help to open the eyes of God's people. Please list any sources. The bible tells us to watch....(Matthew 25:13). We do not know the day or the hour of Christ's return, but He did give us signs. (1Corinthians 16:13) - "Watch! Stand firm in the faith! Be courageous! Is this true? What are the rules related to this? For instance, can they marry more than once? Can they have children? Does this mean the Roman Catholic church is the only Christian church where the priest can not marry? Thank you.

First, this question is directed at Christians of any denomination. It is not an attack on any people of any faith but an attempt to gain my own understanding of one faith.

Please state what your basic beliefs (beyond the "There is one true God and Jesus is his son.") regarding your faith are AND please tell me where your beliefs come from (quotations from the Bible, etc). Please do not only state "I believe" which is fine but "why?" If you believe because the Bible tells you such and such, that's fine too, just quote from the Bible. If you believe because you see God's hand in everything around you and are convinced this is the Christian God, that's fine. Please provide a description of this experience.

I'm trying to gain an understanding of the Christian faith through the "how" and "why" of people's beliefs.

And one more thing. Please neither attack anyone else's answers or beliefs nor simply state "I believe." That's not what the question is about. Thanks.

What's wrong with today's Arabs? We've been asleep for five centuries. Not one of our countries is a democracy, not ONE. We have high rates of illiteracy and unemployment and many of us live below the poverty line. We approve of child marriage, flogging, stoning, and a God-given right to physically abuse our wives centuries after these practices were at least theoretically abandoned by the civilized world. Our women are still undereducated and underrepresented in our governments and many are illiterate and don't even know they have rights. Our criticism of everything Israeli and Western while we turn a blind eye to every one of our own faults has won us a notorious reputation for double standards. We brutalized our Jews and 99.5% of them fled, and the Bahais and Christians will follow suit because, apart from Lebanon, none of our countries has a clean religious rights record. And the problem will not change because we refuse to acknowledge its existence.

I've just thought of a possible way of putting YEC to the test! A potential decisive experiment.

YEC holds that all animals alive today were decended from the species on the ark (around 4,000 years ago), two of every unclean beast and SEVEN of every clean beast.

This makes a number of predictions:
1. If you calculated the diversity implicit in the mitocondrial DNA of unclean species and factored in their frequency of reproduction you would end up with the same answer for each species.
2. If you then factored in the rate of change of mitocondrial DNA you would get back to around 4,000 years ago
3. If you repeated the experiment on clean animals you would get radically different, universally "older" results.

What do you reckon? Could this decide the issue?

isn't the concept of religion just copied off the original?

some people tamper with it by adding in brackets to the words in effect meaning women should be entierely covered except for their eyes. the original doesent specefcially state this all it says it they should cover their bodies and dress modestly. not cover their faces and completely hide themselves. why do the transleters do this cant they leave the book alone rather than tampering with it to what they beleive is right

Satan and womans plans for divorce in America. In the last 100 years American divorce rates have increased to a all time high.
This is how this has come about. I America today when a woman decides to enter into sin, she has a support network to aid her alone her path of sin. This support network starts out with Phsycholigist these people are satanic, they neither adhear to any knowedge of truth nor have knowedge of God. They actyally classify christians as mentally desturbed people. Simply because they have faith in God. The government also has government department of human resorces which provide paid liers to help woman get divorces. They also are satanic in all there many froms. The courts have laws today that have created a super class of sinners ( woman ) who are all victums. No matter the real happens. In other words sin is promoted. So how do you like your tax money spent?

They pick on my belief(Evolution) yet can't prove their belief(Intelligene design)

They quote the violence verses in the Quran/other holy texts as if their holy book don't have such thing.

They mock other religion to worship numerous numbers of gods,yet no problem worship a Trinuine god.
