Do they preach their self-righteousness at you, when they should keep it to themselves? Do they get angry when their hypocrisy is exposed? And what can be done more to combat this rising tide of ignorance in society?

No, I'm not a victim. As an agnostic, I tend to listen to what they say and learn what I can from it, just as I listen to the theists and look for reason from them.
It seems that in this forum, however, the two groups so much enjoy attacking each other that the only thing I can observe is the pseudo-clever sophistry that passes for debate between them.

As long as christians force their religioous bull down my throat, then I will combat it with my own opinions. Why should they be the only ones that can yell at people and say things like YOUR GOING TO HELL! As if that is supposed to scare us because oh yeah we don't believe in Hell. I will always fight for what I believe in even if that means doing a little pushing.

I hate it when people discriminate against me for not being gay or Jesus not being {whatever} enough for them and for us having a belief system which allows us to raise a family, and have PEACE within. I hate it when school kids say that science has the answers to everything, and I must be brainwashed.
I also hate the ignorance of some people to think that we give a rats a** what kind of ABOMINATION they are as long as they don't flaunt it in our face.
What can be done, nothing. This is the way they justify themselves. Their sh*t don't smell! It's a thing called transference.

No, I havn't been the victim of self-righteous preaching. But my ancestors were rounded up, shot, hung, and hauled into the Siberian gulags by atheist extremists, if that counts.

Yes, they are really annoying... always coming up with strawman arguments like "logic" and "science". As if logic is better than faith. And the nerve to question things that are written in the Holy Bible.. I think the only solution is to kill them all. For starters it would be a good thing to close all universities

I love doing things to people that love doing things. Religion breeds on stupidity, fear and greed. Now where is the hypocrisy?

Well said. You know jim_ darwin emails all his friends to dog pile a question he can't deal with. There is a concerted effort to attack and humiliate Christians on this site.

Hope you won't have nightmares.

I am not a victim at all. While I may not agree with them they are entitled to their opinion just as I am
