Is it because they like to exploit people's natural fears for their own personal gain, to boost their ego, and to make themselves feel better?

Or that it is so ridiculous that it must be true - after all, we have Christians in the first place?

I think it's a combination of both.

Just curious if I put those words on the first line if they increase the likelihood of people clicking on the question,

curious if the black and white photo of a monkey or the word darwin up there increases the likelihood of people clicking on it,

what makes a question unique

The one who didn't speak but the truth (pbuh) said:"anyone heard of me from my people,a Jew or a Christian, and didn't believe in me,will not go to heaven. "

-now you know,so that on the doomsday you couldn't say no body warned me.

Some are meant for pure humor I agree. But for the serious ones: Don't they help to expand your view of a subject? Don't they cause you to analyze the beliefs you hold? Don't they allow for a broader understanding of the principles involved? Don't they tear away all of the fluff and get you to think about the basic framework to what you believe?

Seriously, how could anyone believe that a ball of dirt with some water on it could possibly develop by natural forces?

I suppose it would help, if you were struggling with the question of how the universe was created. Instead of all that 'science' stuff, which just complicates things, you could just clear it up by saying it was all just God.

And if I'm worried about death, I can follow the requirements of the Church, a *legal* apparatus, and then inexplicably I will find myself in Heaven?

How insecure to you have to be, to be a Christian? My guess is very much.

Can men with the body of a monkey, a long white beard, and a Santa hat drink at the Christian's only water fountain if the Atheist one is broken?

If the shoe fits, I suggest you wear it.

Think about it, Theists and Atheists (Myself an Atheist) would look at any scientific evidence and say - well that supports my world view that there is or is not a God/Creator.

The Agnostic world view would perhaps be the only appropriate mindset to review scientific data.

Your thoughts please . . .

Or is it a perpetually infinite process that's "always" been in motion, without a beginning? If one could somehow "trace" evolution back to it's "starting point" -- the point that "got the ball rolling" to jump-start it into a live active process that started spawning life, would you even find a "beginning" point there? I guess my question basically is, What is the "cause" behind the process of evolution? Since "evolution" can take credit for spawning life, "what" can take credit for jump-starting it into an active process?

Don't worry, this isn't a question with some hidden agenda to promote religion. I'm simply curious, as I find both God and the evolution theory to be flawed concepts. And I'm merely interrogating Evolution as to how it came to be a "live", active process in the first place. I'm searching for some logical "cause" behind it's life-spawning capability.

They all should know, Quran is one entity u have first to read it, understand it, and link it to each other, after that u can use Quran vevrses against Islam!! I am quite sure if anyone of u did wt I've said s/he would never have anything against Islam.
e.g.
4:43 O ye who believe! Approach not prayers with a mind befogged, until ye can understand all that ye say
5:90 O ye who believe! Intoxicants and gambling, (dedication of) stones, and (divination by) arrows, are an abomination,- of Satan's handwork: eschew such (abomination), that ye may prosper.
IAccording to 4:43 it is ok to drink alcoholic drinks as long when u want to pray the effect of alcohol is finished, while and according to 5:90 it is totally forbidden to drinc alcoholic drinks.
My point if u study the whole Quran, understand it, and link it each other u'll know that the 1st verse was the first step to forbid alcohol, while the 2nd one was the final step to forbid alcoholic drinks.
BTY it is the same way in rehabs
