No; I get the feeling that I've accepted a truth that most other people are afraid to consider.

Where do you go when you die? No where... maybe you'll be a tree. ... and some big fat hairy sweaty man will come with an axe and cut you down and drag you through the woods and make paper out of you ... and the Bible will be printed on you. So MEH!

But uhh...yeah. I'm agnostic, and I can say that I feel like religion is overrated. And I feel kinda bad for people who don't really live, because they're terrified to offend someone who may or may not have existed at some point in time. People put too much faith into the bible, having no knowledge of whom it was actually written by, and they still choose to linger on every measley word, simply because someone, at some point in time said that holy people wrote it, and you should therefore live by it.

I just think it's all a big waste of time, really, but I don't feel like I'm all-knowing, or that I know something others don't.

No, I just do not submit myself to their beliefs.

Atheism is not a positive belief, it is only lack of belief. It is through lacking belief in such doctrine that I am free to look into other possibilities.

Not really.
I think there are many theists who, deep down inside, understand that there is no god.
Atheists just acknowledge the obvious.
