I mean no offense, I only wish to know, as I thought that a follower of Islam was a Muslim, so what does Muslimah mean?

Thank you abdulhafni, I did wonder that as I had seen only Muslim women refer to themselves as Muslimah.

the muslimah will believe that there is only one god , and Mohammad PBUH is the messenger of god, muslimah will fast in Ramadan (starts from dawn until sunset), Muslimah will pray 5 times a day , she should wear hejab to cover her hair and entire body (to keep men from looking at her) she shouldn't lie and she shouldn't have sexual relation without marriage, she should be honest and love to others what she loves to herself..to be kind to the poor ..shouldn't drink alchol and don't eat pork, although there are so many Muslims who r not wearing the hijab but offer prayers and do the rest of the things..but the right thing is to wear hijab..being a Muslim that doesn't mean that we are not educated or just running behind our husbands to fulfill their needs not at all , true Muslim should take care and help one another and respect each other, being a Muslim doesn't mean you will give up your life...for us we do what normal women do all over the world, we drive , we go out , have fun go to cinemas, we can enjoy any kind of sports....being a muslimah is not a wrong thing its the best thing I ever have and I am proud to be muslimah.

A muslimah is a muslim women that obeys her husband orders, like not refusing vagina sex and also other things (not kidding, serious here). When she obeys her husband, she is obeying Allah's command.

Nobel Quran Sura Al-Baqarah (2), verse 223,

"Your wives are a tilth for you, so go to your tilth (have sexual relations with your wives in any manner as long as it is in the vagina and not in the anus), when or how you will, and send (good deeds, or ask Allâh to bestow upon you pious offspring) before you for your ownselves. And fear Allâh, and know that you are to meet Him (in the Hereafter), and give good tidings to the believers (O Muhammad SAW)."

Nobel Quran, Sura An-Nisâ' (4), verse 34,

"Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allâh has made one of them to excel the other, and because they spend (to support them) from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient (to Allâh and to their husbands), and guard in the husband's absence what Allâh orders them to guard (e.g. their chastity, their husband's property, etc.). As to those women on whose part you see illconduct, admonish them (first), (next), refuse to share their beds, (and last) beat them (lightly, if it is useful), but if they return to obedience, seek not against them means (of annoyance). Surely, Allâh is Ever Most High, Most Great."

Apparently you have to convert, wear a veil in a western country, and expect everyone to applaud you. Thats what it means, but I could be wrong.
