In the USA we let people out of jail after they pay their debt to society. Are we more forgiving?

I'm asking for help to find the answers.

I never said anything about fire and brimstone.

Bible teaches that hell is separation from god. But I have separated myself from people and people have separated themselves from me, but in both case I have forgiven and been forgiven by humans. Why can't god do this?

I will get a bunch of thumbs down for telling you this but who cares. The punishment of the wicked is everlasting, however that punishment is death, not everlasting torment. I encourage you to study the subject of death, the soul, the wages of sin, mortality and immortality of man as it is revealed in the bible. Leave your preconceived ideas at the door and ask God to lead you into the truth. God bless.

There's a concordance in the back of every bible. Look up the subject and it will give you the texts.

Hell is not a place of firey burning torment like some people teach and it is not forever either. In fact, hell (the Bible definition of which is the grave) is done away with in the lake of fire which the Bible defines as the second death. Pay close attention to the other things in the scriptures which mention hell so you will be able to tell if they can be applied literally.

We are born into sin. That's a fact. We do sin. That's another fact. Another fact, God forgives generously. Another one, Hell and Heaven exist.
Surprisingly people think that they can sin all they want and be rebelious as much as it suits them or as long as they live and they will recieve God's mercy and be forgiven. Many reason that if God is love then why would he create hell or cast us into hell for eternity. It's a good human logic/reasoning, but it's not acceptable because as God says in the Bible, "My ways are not your ways and my thoughts are not your thoughts". God is Holy and He wants us to be holy.

Imagine that you've been living for thirty years and imagine how many times a person sins in a day, let a lone a month. Thru this whole time you know what is wrong and right. You've been given so many chances to repent of your sins, to accept Jesus as your saviour, to have faith in God and so on but you just don't do it. The Bible is there to let you know what is expected of us from God and you just don't do it. You know that if you do not repent of your sins, you WILL not MIGHT but will be cast into the lake of fire/hell and you still don't want to believe that God can do it because you say that God is love. How many times has God forgiven you? The Bible says we should forgive our neighbors 7 x 77 times, that's a lot of times, how many more times do you think God can forgive us? God is mercy, you live your life in a way that is not pleasing to God and then you still want to complain when He says hell for eternity?

My dear if anyone is cast into hell, there's no one to blame, especially not God but yourself. You know the truth but you just don't want to accept it.

Damnation to hell is forever because these people that are cast to hell are God's enemies, he doesn't care for them nor love them. It's a pity when God doesn't love anymore but considers you as his enemy. Know the truth and the truth shall set you free. Where is the truth? In the Bible. Who is the truth? Jesus Christ.

For the wages (earnings) of sin (doing something against Gods commands) is death (separation from God) either in hell or later in the lake of fire which is the eteranal place.

But the gift of God (a gift is something you have to receive) is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

He already paid your debt for you and if you reject it, how can he pay it again. It is forever decided then.

Because only after you are dead can you be send to hell. Its kind of hard to come back to earth if you are dead, and in hell. Besides it is said that hell will be destroyed some day, so it really is not forever.

Because you have a bible I am sure. You may have read it, maybe not. But you do have one. If you have read it you refuse to understand it. All the answers are there. Maybe you can't see them is because you don't want to.
