People have freedom of choice. They choose to misinterpret Gods word to fit their own lifestyle and choices, so as to ease their own conscience when THINGS go wrong or when they DO WRONG
.. The conscience is actually our much sought after PROOF~ of the existance of God. Otherwise, whao are you answering to?

If god created everything and it is all screwed up well...it should be pretty easy to figure out. After all, when a cake doesn't come out right, you don't blame the ingredients, you blame the cook, right? Same idea.
