I've always thought that hell was in the center of the earth. A place of fire and torments. The rich man lifted up his eyes from hell and said he was tormented in the flames. The Word says "hell hath enlarged herself" to accommodate more people who insist on going there - maybe that's why we have so much volcanic activity on earth. Of course it could be somewhere else - perhaps the sun. However, the Word did say in the Old Testament that the earth opened up and the rebels fell down into hell alive and the people heard their screams. Anyway where ever it is, I have no intention of ending up there.

No not a chance Hell was the name given by the Hebrews for a cremation grounds just as we call the our graveyard in Arlington the Arlington National Cemetery . You can't go there though unless the military allows it unlike the the urban hell fire legend proselytized by the tactical units of the religious sales and marketing department. they keep the doors open twenty four /seven .. come one, come all. Abandon all hope ....ha

I've heard some christians say it's at the center of the earth, hahahahaha. Somewhere in the giant ball of molten iron and nickel there are a bunch of damned souls operating a hand- crank that keeps the earth in rotation, lol.

No, I think the Bible uses figurative language to describe Hell. I don't think it's a bottomless pit or a lake of fire literally. I think Hell is a place where the lost will be seperated from God for eternity, as described in Timothy. I think Hell is in another dimension myself.

Yeah, when a volcano erupts, it's merely Satan farting out his sulphuric magma diarrhea. After all, eating all those souls in hell "underground", leaves him with unholy indigestion.
