I don't know, I haven't thought about lent in a few years. I was raised Catholic but have gotten away from it. I view lent as kind of pointless. One time I did give up pop. Then another time chocolate. The chocolate one was actually beneficial because it made me love it even more when I could have it again.

Lent is another religious notion for social control. Why not try being good all year long to your self and those around you? f$##ing religion gives you a cop-out to indulge yourself outside of lent is a load of crap

I gave up sex for lent 7 years ago, and forgot to start again after. Then again, I haven't found anyone I'd actually consider having sex with since then, either, in the new city I moved to.

I really do not do the lent thing..I maybe should. I do not follow religion though. I follow Jesus.
