Prayer alone can give a peaceful life?

God, revealed holy scriptures and God's representatives have given us the process as to how we can attain peaceful life in four yugas.
1. Satya-yuga by meditating on Vishnu,
2. Treta-yuga by performing sacrifices,
3. Dvapara-yuga by serving the Lord's lotus feet in the temples
4. Kali-yuga simply by chanting the Hare Krishna maha-mantra.

So, the Hare Krishna maha-mantra is the prayer to be engaged in pure loving devotional service to the Lord. When we are sincere in our prayers of chanting Hare Krishna maha-mantra the Lord reveals Himself and then we can see Him and will be peaceful and happy.

The meaning of the above prayer is as follows,
"O Supreme Energy of Krishna and O Lord Krishna, please engage me in Your eternal service."
or in other words,
"O energy of the Lord [Hare], O all-attractive Lord (Krishna), O Supreme Enjoyer (Rama), please engage me in Your service."

When we are materilly engaged in the serivice of father, mother, husband, wife, children, society, etc... we may be peacful and happy temporarily but when we engaged in the service of the Lord through the prayer above mentioed we will be spiritually happy eternally.

Qur’an 8:60 “Infidels should not think that they can get away from us. Prepare against them whatever arms and weaponry you can muster so that you may terrorize them.”
Bukhari:V4B52N260 “The Prophet said, ‘If a Muslim discards his religion, kill him!’”
Qur’an 5:51 “Believers, take not Jews and Christians for your friends.”
Bukhari [4:52:177]: Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him!"

Not necessarily. A peaceful life comes from peaceful surroundings. if there are no people to love you, then you should really spread some sunshine and then you wont feel the heat of others' hatred. IT REALLY WORKS!!!!! and its a lot peaceful

No. Prayer is only one element. You must also consider charity,patience, and the indepent search for infinite truth. Can you venture outside your original faith, learn new things, and still hold true to your beliefs? If not, your prayers are only actions of self absorbed vanity.

there is GREAT power of prayer...but you have to make sure God is in your heart first..ask him into your heart and to forgive your for your sins..then talk to him and go to him with ur problems...this will give you a peaceful life..i promis...God promises....also, read the bible...theres SOOOO much in there that tells us about how to live a peaceful life

it may help but as for me i don't pray everyday but i do live a peaceful life. i guess that having a peaceful life is the outcome of your actions not of how many times you prayed.
