As you know, most of the soothsayers are from the Catholic Church. Many of the Catholics believe that evil spirits can be exercised. This myth was first credited to the Pueblo Indians.

Some group or another has been 'seeing' the signs of the end of the age for almost 2,000 years.
One group someday, out of luck, will finally be right.
Matthew 22:36-39 states:
"Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?"
He said to him, "You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
The most important thing is live every day as if it were your last and to be ready to face your maker at any moment.

Ever hear of the phone game in kindergarten? Now you are basing your faith on stories that have been retold and retold over a long time. If I remember correctly, it took only 2 or 3 people before the phone game distorted the story. Please, you really can't take the bible seriously knowing how humans retell stories!
