If you believe in them, then how do you explain the fact that ghosts in sightings always seem to be wearing clothes.

The clothes are usually described not to be made out of ordinary materials. In other words, your hand would go through it just like it would go through a ghost.

So, if you believe in ghosts, then that probably means that you believe in ghost clothes.

Now, I know that religion sets up people not to question things, but if you really think about it, this is a valid question.

Put this way, the concept of ghost clothes seems silly.

This argument isn't meant to prove anything. All it serves to do is to get you to examine the probablity of it existing.

So, if you believe in ghost clothes, who makes them? Can ghosts change their clothes? Do they have a closet somewhere that they store the ghost clothes in? Are there ghost hangers?

If God makes them, then that must mean he is constantly making new clothes (since people die every single day around the world) and he is not only making them, but coming up with different designs to suit the needs and tastes of the people who wear them (I’m basing that on the accounts of people who have claimed to see ghosts that were not wearing a stereotypical white robe).

If God doesn’t make them, who does? Do people who die make them with their minds? Is there a person in Heaven who is put in charge of making clothes?

This is a valid question, but I’m afraid that people will call it silly, because religion does not teach you to question the probability and logic of certain things. If ghosts do exist and they do wear clothes, then these would all be issues that would actually come up.

Once again, this doesn’t prove anything, but it does get you to examine the probability of ghosts actually existing.

Ghosts can show up or at least this is the way i see it fully clothed as they were dressed in another time. They can look as real as anyone else. Sometimes you can feel their touch. Yes and some times they can look something like Casper though most don't. The way you know they are ghost is this strange different feeling that you get. Some or frightening and make you somewhat uncomfortable and some seem to be watching over you. Three parts to us our mind body and spirit. Our mind can still remember things from long ago in some cases our body does not hold up or last but so many years but our spirit lives on.

I'm a life long skeptic. I've never had the slightest doubt that ghosts, UFOs and even God were ridiculous and products of the weak minded. In the last few years, however, science itself has suggested a possibility that could include something like God and entities like ghosts. If there was a religious God I doubt there would be ghosts because they would seem to constitute a mistake in getting a "soul" from earth to heaven, a mistake God presumably would be too perfect to make but what if "God was actually a kind of group consciousness that, though powerful, was somewhat less perfect than "God. Then mistakes could be made. These are maybes but maybes that science might be answering in the near future. We could be in for big doings!

I would say yes and no. No, that their are not created ghosts and no, people dont become them. I would say yes their are Angels about. I heard a story from a great friend yesterday that said a strange person pulled over and helped her when she was pulled over on the side of the road to change a flat tire behind a shrub where she couldn't see down the high way. The man suddely turned toward the shrub pointing and exclaimed "You cant park here", and went back to helping her. Suddenly a semi neither ogf them could see pulled back onto the highway instead of plowing thru them. That was an angel. The bible says to be kind to strangers because you may be entertaining angels.

My own personal belief is that yes Ghosts exist, and the cloathing they wear, Is because I think to some degree, a spirit has a bit of control over it's image. Whether that control is concious or unconcious, the Ghost is likely to manifest similar to the way the ghost believes itself to look, therefore will likley appear to be wearing clothing unless the ghost has a nude self image. Also many people think that a Ghost's image will be similar to what the person looked like when they died, or when they were burried. - Just as a thought.

Yes they exist and you will be one some day. A ghost is the soul of a human passed. A ghost is translucent, and doesn't have clothes. Why some are able to manifest themselves is probably something better left alone, unless you want some visitors at night. Oh and by the way the ones that introduced themselves to me were not friendly.

Ghost wear the same clothes they wore when they died if they were naked when they died then they are naked ghost. If they died in bead then they may wear a sheet. You don't know much do you. If you haven't put much study into the subject you shouldn't show your ignorance of the subject by asking these silly questions.

Too long to read this late at night. But to answer your question: no, ghosts don't exist. Especially not holy ghosts.

There is no such thing as a ghost. People see what they want to see or expect to see, that's all.
