In thefollowing answers link, Daizy wrote that the Christians were from the liniage of Abraham & Sarah who had Isaac and that Islam was from Abram & Hagar who had Ismael. Is this what your religion actually teaches? And if so, it kind of bothers me that the religion was formed out of sin. According to the Bible, Sarai had not enough faith to believe God's promise would be fulfilled through her, so she talked Abram into having a child with her maid servant Hagar. Thus, creating the his son Ismael. This caused her nothing but sorrow. Once Sarah had Isaac, she became angry with Hagar and told Abraham to send her and Ismael away. God told Abraham to do as Sarah wished. Ismael had 12 sons and they lived in hostility to all their brothers (Isaac and his desendants.) Genesis Ch. 15-25

Human life is short. It is not meant to be wasted on issues of cricket. Since people admire and follow you, albeit for wrong reasons, you should understand the necessity of unlearning the wrongs that you have learnt in life. Slowly you should inculcate the virtue of doing devotion to the eternally most beloved Shri Krishna.
I wish you success and may you be blessed!

During the last supper Jesus said that someone who was sitting arround the table was a trator, that Peter would deny Him 3 times.
PREDESTINATION? If there is such thing, if our Maker knows, and we are supposed to do the things we do(bad things), why are we responsible then for our "sisn". How is it a sin if it was writen to happen? I cannot understand this concept. I have studied epistomology, mythology, spoken to many different religious groups about this, no one can give me a clear answer. Predestination tells me that there is no hell, no one is responsible for anything, all is ment to happen. ARE THINGS WRITEN TO HAPPEN OR ARE WE RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR ACTIONS?

this question is a follow up to a previous question over a video that did not get quite the responce i was expecting.

maybe children should wait untill they are at least over 16 or 18 before learning the deeper more contraversial understandings of the universe.

its one thing to teach them the love of jesus, its another to tell them that evolution, and global warming is wrong and simply political. i also dont understand why parents are so willing to build they're childrens understanding of one faith, without giving them understanding of other religious or spiritual beliefs.

a childs mind is so malliable, it will accept any information you give them to be the literal truth. we have to be careful what knowledge we feed them. just because you feel strongly about a contraversial topic does not mean it should be imposed on your child. such topics should wait until they have devoloped critical thinking skills.

I don't think so. I feel religion evolved as we did and was, at the same time, manipulated and corrupted to cater the needs of the few. I've never really studied religion but from my observations, all religions have the same basis. It is the practice of it that makes it different. The practice of religion however is a result of traditions and not basic social law taught in the holy texts. Thats why there are branches of different beliefs even within a single religion. Why? To ensure the characteristics of traditional belief system is not lost. Fear of Change!!! We are all the same, made of the same compositions with unique tweaks in our DNA to make us individuals but if comprehend carefully, we're just organisms trying to survive within the same environment. Only difference is, we can manipulate our mind and make choices. Unfortunately, our minds are not used to its full potential. I say religion is basic, the intrepetation evolves and should not be bound by man made laws of tradition.

The hindu concept of an avatar is an incarnation of the divine. Is it offensive that Yahoo! has taken this and turned it into a personalized icon? In a sense, it is an "incarnation" of your online self, but at the same time characterizing your icon as an avatar seems to be kind of extreme (since many of us don't live our lives on Yahoo!).

Are there enough Yahoo! addicts living via the site that you are flattered by the borrowing of this term or is it just crazy hyperbole that mischaracterizes the concept?

This sign is dark and ugly. I am not the least bit interested in whatever is being advertised. It seems like an intrusion and affects my being free to answer questions. If it is not removed, I think I'll stay away from Yahoo Answers until it is gone. If you agree, let's contact Yahoo Answers and let it be known.

I mean, people are constantly making it appear as though the Israelis are like some sort of Jewish David figure surrounded by a brutish Arab Goliath. The fact is, if you were forced out of your home and told that somebody else would be taking your place, you would be pretty pissed off too.

Besides, look at this quote from David Ben Gurion-- It has asshole written all over it, and is just one of many:

"We must do everything to insure they ( the Palestinians) never do return." Assuring his fellow Zionists that Palestinians will never come back to their homes. "The old will die and the young will forget."

Thou Shalt not murder:

One of the Bible's 10 basic Pillars, the ten commandments, says: "Thou shalt not murder. (Exodus 20:13)." Yet, we see GOD Almighty supposedly also commanded the killing of every single breathing creature from humans and animals!

Kill everything that "breathes" from humans and animals!

Deuteronomy 20:16
However, in the cities of the nations the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, do not leave alive anything that breathes.

Apparently, it is one of the Bible's foundations to mass-murder every single human and animal from the defeated enemy.

Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ***.

I have come to a dead end. Today I had an epiphany, and am literally almost in tears. I see the pain, the violence, and the belief in false gods in this world. I see people mocking religion, and I am scared for them.

But I don't know how to actively share my faith. This gift is something I want everyone to be able to recieve, and people seem so willing to cast it away in an instant.

Do you preach openly to others? How? Sometimes I want to, but get scared and nervous. What I want to say just won't come out.

False religion is perfectly primed for destruction. The Anglo-American world power ( King of the south ) has loads of enemies and so it wont take much for a new King of the North to appear.
The world is so full of badness, i really think the creator will do away with all ungodliness this year. No apostate abuse please, serious answers only from readers with discernment.
