God is not something i merely believe in. He is somethin I KNOW.. not because my parents do; they only gave me the building blocks, and started my foundation. I know because of the bible, and the many things that have happened in my life - little miracles that I can't deny as power of God.

I know God because He has given me the Holy Spirit. If not for him, I would be nowhere.

If you do it just because ur parents do so then plz take time to think. Let me tell you a story between a believer in God and a scientist who believed in the theory of evolution and that God does not exist. They supposed to meet at a fixed time however the believer was really late when the scientist decided to go he came apologizing for his lateness. When asked why he came so late he said :" I was waiting by the river for a boat but there was none then lots of cut wood came along assembled themselves in a boat and I took it to come" The scientist laughed telling him who does he think he is fooling, then the believer told him " If you cant believe that a few woods could assemble themselves then how can you think that this big universe with all its precision can assemble themselves so perfectly without God!
The scientist without a word left!

Hope this help you

I think to answer your question is like answering why when were little kids do we believe in santa clause and the tooth fairy because it gives us something to look forward too. Knowing that this thing is there to bring good things to us we enjoy that. Basically God is that thing that makes us all keep going and doing good things instead of commit sins and it gives us hope for are life. When really he may not exist and when we die we just turn into nothing like we were when we were born. God is just something that gives us hope for moving on through life gives us something to live for in a way but i for one think we all eventually end up as nothing not good or bad just a complete black nothing so live life while you can enjoy it because when we die we do not exist anymore.

We younger people question religion nowadays because we see that it is flawed in many ways. Religion is often forced upon us at a young age so we follow. If we question it then we are seen as heathens.

But yes God exists. All religions are trying to define the same God, creator of the universe.

I don't believe he does personally. If he did why does poverty, war, famine and disease still exsist?
And i know alot of people (mainly christians) say that God gave us this world and left it up to us to do as we wish. But that just confuses me because i think it says in the bible somewhere that God plans every birth and death, so he must plan every person to suffer poverty or be caught up in a war or suffer a disease. no i dont believe there is a god.
I vote for scientists, they can prove things.

yes he does and , i became a witch to try and prove the fact that he didn't exist...I soon found out how wrong I was......I"m a Christian now.....and believe me you don't want to be serving anyone but God almighty.....there is a hell and Satan is roaming the earth looking for the weak minded, the unbelievers, the drug addicts, anyone that he can keep down....and the only way out is to call on Jesus Christ and the devil will run...but he's always lurking waiting to get you in a weak moment, so you have to be strong in the Lord, trust him, love him, have faith in him, and never let go of him....because the devils waiting....

If you plant a sugar cane plant and a chilli tree side by side.
They both get the nutrients from the same source but the chilli will taste hot and the sugar cane will be sweet. If not for divine intervention, this cannot happen.
