I think so, because I've been asking God for a partner for over 10 years now and still no answer. Being Valentine's Day, the betrayal becomes somewhat magnified. Actually, does God even exist? Why do people even believe the bible? Maybe I should stop being a Christian... are atheists happier? Just answer whatever you feel like, I appreciate any replies.

I am not agaist homosexuality, but everyone keeps saying that it is wrong. Does Jesus actually say anything in the Bible regarding homosexuality? If so, where? Please don't let this get into a gay straight debate, I'm just curios. Thanks.

So, does the Lord want to be praised always? If we don't priase him, we go to hell? The Lord sounds like a selfish bast--- (you know the rest) rather, does that mean 41/42 of the entire world's population go to hell no matter what good they do?

I remember countless times that I just ignored that. Each time I paid a high price. Some times I can hear something-it's sort of high pitched, hard to describe-or see it, like the person that you're talking to suddenly turns into a many-faced beast. I'm talking about signs of-I hate to put it this way- but signs of demonic or evil. I've experienced this lots of times, and now I trust it wholly, but have you ever experienced this?

The white witchcraft is good witch and I feel though it is a good thing to be a witch. But my mom feels they will make you go to camps and rape you and telling you that god wants it that way. For one thing the white witch has no one god, it is just postive spirts. And those who pratice can pratice by themself of make your own group of witches and pratice! My mom just dosen't understand, we aren't even heavy religion on Chirstian.

Why do some religions want people to keep a closed mind, like -Any form of miracle other than god's is the work of the devil?

Finally, how do I differentiate a good religion from a really bad one? My friend thinks he needs a religion and asks for reccomendations, I can't answer him cuz I have none and he wants an un-biased one.

The Atheist vs Christianity vs Islam theme gets kind of old. I would like to discuss topics with other Christians without getting all the "cute" quips. I'm sure others would like to have their own area too. They could keep this group as a "battleground" and have seperate areas for various religions or nonreligous groups (as odd as that sounds). Good idea or the craziest thing you ever heard?

i know in my last moments my thoughts will be looking for the light, but really what is it to have no thought at deaths moment but to anticipate a dark nothing?
thoughts od rewards arnt there ,no expectation ,so what the last thought athiests have at death ?
or do you just expect your mind to go off like a tv ,
yet still what the last thought ,wait ans see?
dread because this is it ,this or is it this what the last thought?
at least hear this look for a light ,at least keep an open mind?
god is love know that
there is nothing to fear and at least allow for the logic of what may be
please dont just expect the dark ,dont think any child of the father wants you to expect nothing ,
is your mind made up to expect nothing
at least expect a final light blip
or is it easier to deney now?
but what of the then?

dont forgo the truth
god really is love/light/life

Have you ever wondered why God makes us who we are?I mean why he put us into our families, in this timeWwhy some are born into wealthy, middle class, or poor families. Why some are in much more nuturing homes while others are brought into homes where there is violence or abuse.Just came to my mind and I was wondering if anyone wanted to share their views.

We've been studying ancient India in class. I have never really thought much of it until now, but I'm half Indian. I'm actually half Brahmin. When we learned about the Brahmin's oppresive, narcissistic nature, I felt bad about it...Like I did it.

I know I sound really stupid. And prejudiced against my own ancestors. But should I feel bad to be an oppressive Brahmin?
