Yes, we have the Gospels and we have the Sacred Tradition of the Roman Catholic Church, which He founded. Neither of these are myths.

YES! It is called the New Testament. Faith is all a Christian needs to believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and God himself. To consider Jesus a myth is to consider that man never really landed on the moon. I may not have seen them land on it but I believe because someone told me so. And that is enough for me. The Bible is the only information I need of Jesus.

Yeah. And if you really want to find out, read the Bible, read Christian publications, talk to a major denomination pastor. I think you'll find your answers there. It would take very, VERY, much to write all the reasons for my belief and give you information about Jesus. In talking to a pastor you can ask whatever questions come to mind. You can ask the who, what, when, where, how and why of things and get an answer.

Other than the Bible, which is a biased and very questionable source, there is very little historical information about Jesus. A man named Jesus is mentioned in one of the Roman history--about two sentences. That is pretty much it. I'd also like to point out that Jesus was a very common name. After all, who wouldn't want their son to be named after the messiah?

Well, I am a christian, and I personally believe in faith, so its hard for me to answer your question the way I know you want me too...

But I would just like to ask you about Christopher Columbus, George Washington, the ice age, dinosaurs, ect... How do you know these people/era/animals really exsisted? Your taking historys word for it, pictures painted, books written... but you physically havent seen any of them. So how do you know they are real?

Same way I know Jesus is real, im sure :)

I don't know what you mean by myth but I'm guessing you mean the Bible. The work of Flavius Josephus springs to mind as being a non-Biblical reference.

B - I - B - L - E reading gives a pretty good idea of who He was and what He did. I am NOT a Christian but I know where to look.
