The word hereafter is used for,
1- The Judgement Day, when every human will be judged according to there belief, ethics and deeds. Then they will send to the worlds or place according to there result.
2- The two worlds after the Judgement day are, Paradise & Hell.
Yes my dear, every opinion got the difference of opinion. Thats why Hereafter or Judgement Day is created.

At first I can tell you only this that this question is answered by non other than God when you reach the state of God-Realisation. This happens only during pure hearted devotion and surrendering 100% to God with all your thoughts and didst of past. God's opinion can not differ.
