When I look carefully in scripture, I dont see anything that refers to how God did not create us through evolution.

Infact, God says He created humans from clay/mud, referring to water mixed with earth. From minerals?

So why isnt there a movement called evolutionary creationism? Just a thought..

If I think God wants me to do one thing, but I want to do another....will God punish me forever? Will I go to Hell if I go against God's will and I know I am doing it? Will I ever be able to overcome the troubles that may come with a wrong decision that God probably doesn't agree with? I am tired of waiting for a miracle in my marriage....its been 24 yrs. now.....I feel like I have sacrificed enough of my life here on eart with the wrong man...I know he was my choice at 19 yrs. of age...and I made the mistake of being unequally yoked....but how long do I pay for this mistake?

Don’t you think saying, “There is no God” like it is fact is a little arrogant? Humanity as a whole is learning new things every day. It wasn’t long ago when people said it was impossible to travel faster than the speed of sound. Now the accepted theory is that it is impossible to travel faster than light, but theoretical mathematics shows that it is possible to “Fold” space and time where it may be possible to travel huge distances almost incautiously. I am a Christian but I am not going to state that “There is a God” as fact, because how can we really know, that is what faith is all about.
What I do have is a historical figure, Yeshua who lived and preached in Israel 2000 years ago. He preached a message of love and nonviolence, forgiveness, and loving your neighbor. We know he was arrested by the Romans and crucified for challenging the Jewish religious authorities. I have an empty tomb, at least 14 eyewitness accounts of this man appearing to them after he was dead and buried. I have 11 people who were so changed by this mans life and death that they went out and preached this controversial new doctrine until it got them all killed. All 11 disciples died for their beliefs and not one recanted their beliefs even though it cost them their life. If you had followed a man you thought was a prophet around for a few years and he made all types of claims as to his divinity and he didn’t fulfill them do you really think you would make up a story, go out and preach this myth until it got you killed? Would you die for a lie? I have not met anyone who would have you? Just something to think about.

As there are many different Christian denominations with widely varying beliefs and traditions, how do you reconcile that all these denominations are still Christian and still the "one true path" (or do you?) Clearly, these are all very different paths...?

Isnt saying Jesus being God in flesh, the same thing as saying God became created by the womb of a human woman?

And God cannot be created ladies and gentleman. Or can he?

So when Jesus was saying he was one with the father only figurative speech referring to his being of God but God not of him?

Because I think Paul is the least credible of all of the writers in the New Testament? Because I think the Gospels are exaggerated and borrowed from other mythology? Because I believe the Old Testament is merely a journal of a barbaric people who attribute the ups and downs of life to a deity?

Is that why I am angry with God, or is there another reason?

Perhaps because I have student loans....
