I will never discourage anyone not to go out of there way NOT to offend muslims, anymore than they go out of there way NOT to offend Christians !
I do NOT tiptoe around the Muslims, nor will I. The Truth set me free.
Our government is wrong to walk on eggshells around this religion, they will not know the TRUTH unless they offend them. Then, when the violence happens in America, they will get deported.

Erm - could i remind Chuckles D of Northern Ireland? A very Christian form of terrorism? And what were we doing to the people in Iraq recently - I mean the average joe walking down the street or hiding in their house not the politicians or the military!
Anyway back on point, I think its terrible to try to suppress anyone because of their beliefs be they Jewish, Christian, Buddhist, Wiccan or Muslim. However this leads us to the paradoxical statement "We are a tolerant people that will not tolerate intolerance" I think we need to keep it balanced and not stomp on any one people or belief

I'm not sure about the relationship between your two questions. Are you rather random in your orientation? You know, you could be attacking any church, including the Muslims. And then going out of your way not to offend them? Perhaps, you like Muslims, but not their church. Or, vica-versa! Now you're confusing me!

All religions should be respected...going out of our way not to offend muslims is a kind of insult to the muslims themselves in my opinion...we shouldn't patronise them, but should treat them the same. It is cowardly in my opinion not to stand up and say "I'm a Christian and this is how we live" - 'turning the other cheek' means not attacking, but doesn't mean not standing up for your beliefs... UK Christians seem to me to be so wishy-washy - not certain of what they believe OR perhaps not certain how to 'live' their beliefs now.

treat other how you would expect them to treat you.
all these people who say that you should do as they how do they know who is right.
if you are honest and respect the man next to you then the world would be a better place regardless of any specific religion.
what gets people going is when others come to your home and tell you how you should do things,
maybe they should sort out their own back yard before commenting on ours. RC

in essence there's no piont in attacking or bendin ova backwards: if our intention is 2 analyse things 4 what they are, th@s all th@ needs 2 be done and/or said.
our interpretation of our analysis of misguided acts (for example) causes the issue ur addressing, and this is where we need 2 realise that the purpose 4 analysing is 2 act constructively on info and not use it 2 mud-sling.

Yes, we need to offend more Muslims.
The artists had leaflets through their doors about an 'Islamic flag soon flying over downing street' then they go out and insult Christianity because they know its safe. Cowardice seems like to small a word.
I'd like to have a website which showed arabic faces on a pig's body to say 'Is this what Mohammed looked like?'
If those fundamentalists are going to try and turn my nation in to a theocracy I'll be strapping on the explosives to myself.

These days muslims especially shia remember the murytudum of Imam Hussain in Karbala . In addition that even christians believe in Imam Hussain and what happened to him before1400 years ago. So we believe that Islam refuses to attack churchs and we have to respect them .

We have got to a ridiculous stage where we have set about preserving the liberties of others but appear happy to let our own supposed core values come under attack without fear of reprisal. We should defend the Christian Church too but seem not to worry - maybe anyone who attacks anyone/thing who cannot then defend it/themself/ves is thus being a coward

I'm an equal opprotunity offender. If you offend me, I'll be sure to point out how offensive you are to the rest of the planet.
