It would take a whole lot of faith or absence of mind for me to believe that I came from a monkey or a fish. It takes even more faith to believe that all the elements got together one day and, "BOOM," a big bang, and so now we have this marvelous Universe and all it's spectacular wonders, and there is nothing out there that keeps it from destroying itself?

For the Christians who are answering "Creation," I know that you are implying that Creation and all the issues concerning God require faith because that's what He's all about. But science verifies The Word of God as we are finding by new discoveries everyday. It's not the other way around.

There is NOT EVEN ONE SHRED OF EVIDENCE OF EVOLUTION! That is a lie if you say there is. It's much easier to believe God and get in line with Him, and much more rewarding also for now and the future. But, if you want to deny God and be rebellious towards Him, that's your decision and that's between you and Him.

My God created me and I have come to know My Creator on a personal level and it sure is cool. You can too.

To all the atheist and agnostics, your thumbs down don't bother me...as Jesus Christ still sits on The Throne and He is still in control, even if you don't like it. You wanna be a monkey, be a monkey. I choose to be a Gk (God's Kid). PEACE!!!

Why does intelligent design have to be mutually exclusive of some processes of evolution? To believe that all matter just came from nothing requires a great deal more faith I believe. Some even theorize that it came from some different unknown dimension. Exactly what is more believable about that I will never know. Men deny the truth because they love darkness. That is an overriding truth that permeates all discussion. Belief in God would at the very least indicate that He has a will and some things may in fact not be a part of it. No one likes to be told they are wrong because it means correction, pride is too strong. The very thing that got Lucifer cast down is still casting down countless people today, pride.

Evolution consists of a very long series of statistically improbable coincidences, ALL of which must take place for life to flourish as it does. Science has no clue as to how life can come from non-life. Evolution DOES require faith in a god, it's just that they name theirs 'Chance'. They've gotta have faith, just like Creationists. The difference is, they don't know what they have faith in. And that means they do indeed require more faith than Creationists.

Since creationism is a large collection of fairy tales, it would require faith. Evolution is not a belief system; it is a part of the general scientific discipline of biology. Granted it's evolving itself, but that's what science is: A search for facts. Science will keep looking for answers as long as it takes, and look for more answers after it has found them. Creationism stops at: "God did it. End of story. I don't need to hear any more." Creationism isn't science; it's the short road to ignorance.

Creationism.

Evolution has volumes of studies that support it and prove it exists. The first link below shows one about a plant that has shown it can evolve in just 7 years. The evidence for evolution can be tested and verified independently. Support comes from a wide variety of sources - fossils, field research, ice cores, DNA analysis, and physiological structure of related animals.

Creation cannot be tested, unless you plan to stand around and watch a whole new world pop into being. And it has just one supporting piece of evidence, and that has so many holes and conflicting statements that it would be thrown out of any court if it was ever introduced as evidence.

Believers, if you are truly solid in your beliefs, then you should have no problem in reading the 2nd link below. Those of you who are on the fence can read it, and maybe be able to come down off the fence,
