In many ways we can say yes most wholeheartedly. Just like the junkie who is looking for the best high, so to does the religious addict seek to find the best high that any religion will provide. If one religion does not give them that high they seek out another to try and find it.
What are your thoughts?

What is the christian stand-point for premarital sex for people that will likely never marry? I am single, in my 20's and have very little chance of getting married, but I do enjoy sex very much (though it occurs rarely).
I often hear people say things like "premarital sex is riddled with guilt/ is unfulfilling/ bad..etc" . I don't particularly have any of these negative feelings/guilt about it.
What is the christian standpoint for single people having sex if they will never marry, or at what age is it considered 'ok' for single people to fornicate? Does God expect those who never marry to remain celibate?

He really has convinced people out there that "all you need is yourself and the world".

I just read this is a post and I wanted to know what others think about it. "We are not to prove God to you. God proves God to you. But, He is not going to prove it to unbelievers."

Why would god not want to prove that he is real the mass amout of people that think he is not? To me he would want to spend more time on the people that know he is fake then the people that already think he is real....so basicly if this quote is real why does god not want more people to know about him?

Does anyone know if any groups exist that worship and/or revere Eve?

Please note that I am not asking for your opinion on such a thing, or your opinion of me for asking. Just want to know if anyone knows if there are any. Thanks.

I've just found out that my old religion - (which I won't mention because I feel kinda weird about it right now, even though they have millions of followers) - believe that Jesus is Michael / Michael is Jesus. I had no idea they believed this. That is confusing to me.

Do other religions believe this?

God believers often point out what God believers haven't uncovered yet as evidence that God exist

That's like saying "Nobody knows who killed Sara so the invisible man had to do it"

Is this lazy thinking or what?

For instance: If I was trying to drive to New York and god made the road crack open so I couldn't proceed, was he denying my free will by doing that?

I'm aware that a few people can't understand logic, scientific explanations of natural phenomena, etc. There are many people who can't make appropriate choices without being told what to do. For instance, a mother of 2 at Subway this AM stormed out after becoming upset about all the options. She just couldn't handle deciding what cheese to get. Yesterday, a teenager was asking if she should have premarital sex; she couldn't spell married, virgin, etc. She seemed to exemplify the typical teen on Maury who doesn't know who the father of her child is. There are many who are only "moral" because they fear something or want a reward. There are people who--w/o a fear of eternal punishment--would relish hurting others.

Does anyone support having religion for ppl like this? (Fearful potential killers, ignorant moms, etc) Why, why not?

(Shouldn't have to spell this out but . . . I'm not saying no religious person can make appropriate decisions.)

Is this how God builds your hopes?

Proverbs 11:8
The righteous man is rescued from trouble, and it comes on the wicked instead
Proverbs 11:19
The truly righteous man attains life, but he who pursues evil goes to his death
Proverbs 12:21
No harm befalls the righteous, but the wicked have their fill of trouble
Proverbs 13:25
The righteous eat to their hearts' content, but the stomach of the wicked goes hungry.
Proverbs 15:29
The LORD is far from the wicked but he hears the prayer of the righteous
Proverbs 16:31
Gray hair is a crown of splendor; it is attained by a righteous life.

Is this how God shatters your dreams?

Ecclesiastes 7:20
There is not a righteous man on earth who does what is right and never sins.

What's with the empty promises and false hope? Why did God set unattainable goals with infinite reward for mankind?

Dont say that's what Jesus was for. What about all the poeple that died miserable before his birth not knowing the future?

Since many people who are asking questions and responding to questions on this forum do not believe in God, I would like to know your comments on the above quote. I have paraphrased from "The Unusual Suspect" by Stephen Baldwin.
