Depends on what time of day it is. If it is around a meal time add sandwiches or a casserole. This is what our church does for events like this. We have punch, coffee, tea, water. Cookies, pastries, fruit such as grapes, and small finger sandwiches, roll-ups like ham with cream cheese, veggies and dip, cheese and crackers, maybe meatballs, etc. Most of this you can get at a place like Sam's club and just warm up or thaw. Get the ladies of the church to volunteer to bake.
