I say yes, Secratary of State Rice is the most logical pick.Rarely leaves Pres. Bush and if she does they are still in fairly close contact and when she does leave his side it's to try and influence other leaders into thinking the same as the White-House.And she's been with him from the start of his administration when all the trouble began? hmmm

Did you ever hear someone ask that? First of all the bible says that "no one is righteous, no not one". And secondly, God works much good through the bad He allows to happen to us. I am a much stronger person because of all of the "bad" that I have been through. And sometimes we just plain deserve it and don't realize it like when we have done something bad to someone else and it comes back around to us. What are people's thoughts on that?

Conservation of Matter and Energy

When a piece of copper metal is heated in air, it comes together with oxygen in the air. Then if it is weighed, it is found to have a greater mass that the original piece of metal. If however the mass of the oxygen of the air that combines with the metal is taken into consideration, it can be shown that the mass of the product is within the limits of accuracy of any weighing instrument, equal to the sum of the masses of the copper and oxygen that combine. This behavior of matter is in accord with what is called the Law of Conservation of Matter: During an ordinary chemical change, there is no detectable increase or decrease in the quantity of matter.

Conversion of one type of matter into another are always accompanied by the conversion of one form of energy into another. Usually heat is leveled or absorbed, but sometimes the conversion involves light or electrical energy instead of, or in addition to heat. Many transformations of energy, of course, do not involve chemical changes. Electrical energy can be changed into either mechanical, light, heat or potential energy without chemical changes. Mechanical energy is converted into electrical energy in a generator. Potential and kinetic energy can be converted into one another. Many other conversions are possible, but all of the energy involved in any change always appears in some form after the change is completed.

The Law of Conservation of Energy states that energy cannot be created or destroyed, but can change its form.

The total quantity of matter and energy available in the universe is a fixed amount and never any more or less.

A Jehova Witness came by yesterday. She asked me if I had any good questions. I asked her about the blood thing, why they won't take blood to save their lives or their childrens. She showed me in the Bible, Acts 15:20 and Acts 15:29, that is says to abstain from blood. And in Deuteronomy 12:16 and in Leviticus 3:17. But explained that to abstain means to stay away from. Like if a doctor told an alcholic to abstain from booze, that is would not be o.k. to put it in thier veins instead of actually drinking it. It is still taking it into your body. So my question is, wouldn't they be right on this subject? It's seems very clear to me that they are, yet everyone comdems them for doing this. I don't know. Is there anything else on this that I am not aware of? I would appreciate any help please.

They also pray about everything. Please, God, make it stop raining so I can bring my groceries in the house without getting wet.

Do you know people like this? What do you think about this? Are they crazy or just religious? Do they have an addiction with God thinking that he is running their whole lives?

I am not exagerating either. God will tell these people to do things like not get married - even though they say they want to - so they don't get married. But, then God will say, now it's time go ahead and get married.

I personally, don't understand this way of thinking. But, I also know alot of people who think they way. So, I'm wondering are they all crazy? Or is that just their way to make it through the world?

Any thoughts on this?

It is a fact that Jesus Christ established just one church. He also intended that his followers believe in only one set of doctrines, those that he and his apostles preached. Yet through the centuries, the unity of the church he founded was shattered, beginning with various heresies in the earliest centuries through the eastern schism, the breakaway of Luther, Calvin, etc. Will Christians ever reunite again, fully aware that Christ founded just one church and not many churches?

Curious agnostic jim darwin here, how tall is God? Many of the religious right seem very sure that God thinks homosexuailty is an abomination, they seem to know his political views on the issues of our day, but I haven't had an answer to my question how tall is God? What color beard does he have? Why is it some people, theres a group of them they are non-Christians, they think God is a women? Isn't that different, God is a woman. Usually that group isn't promoting that God ixnay on the omosexuailtyhay idea, just the Christian religious right for some reason.

Heh why do you think that is, the religious right is so no gay marriage thing,

I'm really curious can someone tell me how tall is God? How is it that people know the mind of God, his likes and dislikes, but I can't get a straight (pun!) answer on how tall God is.

Is he 5 feet six feet seven feet tall?

Is he a weight lifter or a skinny fellow.

Maybe God really doesn't have a problem with gay marriage at all

They condemn unbelievers when the very laws of God, according to the bible made people unbelievers, almost in a sense to preserve it? Lets take the Jews for example (going to speak scriptural, although it is allegory), people say they are condemned to hell for not believing in Jesus, yet according to the bible Jesus way was concealed by them. “For this reason they could not believe, because, as Isaiah says elsewhere: ‘He has blinded their eyes and deadened their hearts, so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts” (John 12:37-40 NIV). In the expanded version of the Isaiah verse, it says, "The Lord caused a depth sleep over them."

This is confirmed by Paul in Romans 9:18-23, where he says God creates vessels of wrath. What Paul would say,"O man, who art thou that repliest against God?" So the question remains, why do you judge God for the operation of his own laws by condemning them so, do you find fault with your God and don't know your own scriptures?

...any LIGHT in them? Isaiah 66.
Christ didn't heal the World with His physical blood. But with His
Personal Spiritual POWER!
Blood is a symbolic term for ones personal spiritual energy.
Hebrews says "YOU have not yet resisted unto blood!"
We have to let go of all the resentment, anger, and pain within
ourselves. Because those things cannot exist in Heaven.
