Long before we were conceived God has a plan for us- and those include dreams. I really believe that if the dream was God given, than yes, He does help us accomplish them. He does not place in us anything that He is not willing and able to help us achieve. However, that does not mean we are to set back and do nothing. Also God will not help us achieve our own selfish dreams that we have left Him out of.
Psalm 37: 3-6 says it far better than I can-
"Trust in the Lord and do good. Dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you desire of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, trust in Him and He will do this- He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun."

I do not believe God distributes the dream favours on an equal basis. I am without question granted my hearts desire by God yet I'm fully aware that others are not. Why the inequity? I'm not concerned with that end of the equation, it is not my place to question why God favours me over others that appear much more deserving of this grace. I just enjoy it as I know God wants me to. Take care.

No, belief in god is generally an impediment to achieving your dreams. How many hours are wasted going to church, prayer meetings and Bible study? How many dollars are wasted supporting an institution that generally produces nothing of value? How many people have been abused physically, mentally, and emotionally at the hands of religious authorities?

God helps people fulfill their purpose in life. It's not always what we dream for ourselves, but it's much more rewarding.

May God Bless you.

He is the Supreme provider. If you develop love for Him, He'll reciprocate by favoring you. Before you develop any love for Him one must want to get to know Him. If one doesn't have the desire to know Him, then one should develop a desire to desire to know Him.
