The woman must produce four male witnesses of good character, or eight female witnesses, to verify the claim that she was raped. In that case, the rapist will be convicted and put to death, since the sentence for rape is death.
However...
If she does not produce the required number of witnesses, the rapist may be acquitted, and she may be accused of (1) fornication, in which case the punishment is getting flogged 100 times, and (2) adultery, in which case the punishment is stoning to death.
It was a huge problem in Pakistan, where 60% of women who reported they were raped could be convicted of fornication or adultery, before enormous international pressure forced Musharraf to change the rape laws. Now, judges in Pakistan can either use civil, secular law when a woman reports a rape, in which case the four witnesses are not required, or choose Sharia law, in which four witnesses are required. In the past, they could only use Sharia law.
Hoor:
(1) Bibilical law is not followed in any country, as opposed to Islamic law, so what the Bible says has no official legal effect, and
(2) Why do Muslims always blame Christians for reading the Koran to criticize it instead of 'understand' it, but they do the same thing with the Bible, and
(3) Why are you preaching?

That appears to be exactly what they think. Why I dont know. If a woman is a victim of a crime why should she be blamed but in some countries she is considered an adultress and can be put to death for it. This is one reason why I have a hard time with Islam and Muslim religions -their unfair and discriminatory treatment of women.

Adultery is considered a sin in all religions. The Bible decrees the death sentence for both the adulterer and the adulteress (Lev. 20:10) . Islam also equally punishes both the adulterer and the adulteress (Quran 24:2). However, the Quranic definition of adultery is very different from the Biblical definition. Adultery, according to the Quran, is the involvement of a married man or a married woman in an extramarital affair. The Bible only considers the extramarital affair of a married woman as adultery (Leviticus 20:10, Deuteronomy 22:22, Proverbs 6:20-7:27).
"If a man is found sleeping with another man's wife, both the man who slept with her and the woman must die. You must purge the evil from Israel" (Deut. 22:22).
"If a man commits adultery with another man's wife both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death" (Lev. 20:10).
According to the Biblical definition, if a married man sleeps with an unmarried woman, this is not considered a crime at all. The married man who has extramarital affairs with unmarried women is not an adulterer and the unmarried women involved with him are not adulteresses. The crime of adultery is committed only when a man, whether married or single, sleeps with a married woman. In this case the man is considered adulterer, even if he is not married, and the woman is considered adulteress
The Quran, on the other hand, never considers any woman to be the possession of any man. The Quran eloquently describes the relationship between the spouses by saying:
" And among His signs is that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may dwell in tranquillity with them and He has put love and mercy between your hearts: verily in that are signs for those who reflect" (Quran 30:21).
This is the Quranic conception of marriage: love, mercy, and tranquillity, not possession and double standards.

To prove rape of a woman, in islam, is impossible. Therefore, it goes on and on and on without any check. But this truth is never liked by muslims.

In Islam the man can do what he pleases as long as he is Muslim. In many Islamic controlled countries if a woman is raped, it is her fault and she can be hanged or shot. It is a serious crime for a woman to allow herself to be raped. Its all on her.

It's always the woman's fault. She would be stoned as the adulteress. I read an article on a handicapped girl who was raped (she was in a wheelchair). She was executed because the people argued she could have screamed or cried out, but she didn't.

Yes if she is married she is an adulteress. She shouldn't be outside alone. Or in the car with a strange man.
