Perhaps. He'd still win every event in the olympics without breaking a sweat.

No, it does not, but that's a great question.
Think of this: There's more than one use for the words rest. It can also simply mean the ceasing of an activity. A couple of examples:
"After all the evidence was analyzed the matter was laid to REST".
"The car went over the cliff and came to REST on some rocks."

God was not exhausted, he was setting an example for us.
God demonstrated that rest is appropriate and right. If God himself rested from his work, then it should not amaze us that we also need rest. Jesus demonstrated this principle when he and his disciples left in a boat to get away from the crowds. Our times of rest refresh us for times of service.

Even superman runs out of juice at some point.
Then he needs some nice yellow sunlight to recharge.
And superman is stronger than gods and what-nots.
Superman crushed a piece of coal and made a diamond in about 5 seconds. It takes God years to do that.

No, you need to read the book of Hebrews that explains God's resting was symbolic of the rest that He has prepared for His followers.

The Hebrew word "rested" more literally means to "cease". It is one of those English words which has chnaged meaning since the KJ Bible was written. God ceased (or end) his work because he was done.

Almost all biblical Scholars know that the book of Genesis wasn't written to be taken literally. It was written back then as almost a folk tale, it has only been misinterpreted to being literally true during this day and age.

No, but it implies that He wishes to enjoy His creation. Jesus also took several breaks in His ministry. As a self-aware creature it is helpful to have time to ourselves and rest.
