I have taken many hallucinatory drugs in my short life so far(I'm only 18) Drugs do not give me enjoyment the feeling of a higher power does. Not like god, like something tangible. Not like OBEs or Lucid Dreaming both I fail at. But like Closed eye visuals or some type of sub conssince exploration.

I have asked this question 3 times previously. All 3 questions have been reported and deleted.

I wonder why this question offends someone so much. I wonder what religion they claim to be?

In the gnostic gospels it is said that Jesus message was about enlightenment, not salvation. I say if you have enlightenment than you know there is no need for salvation because most souls cross over. Religion has nothing to do with the eternal life of your soul.

How do you live your life? In fear of hell? Or in pursuit of knowledge?

There's as much proof for one as the other. So why should believe in one fantasy but not the other?

Whether you are christian or not Jesus did exist. It doesnt matter if you dont believe in all the nonsense that is in the bible but he was a real person. Sometimes people on here say Jesus wasn't real. I think if you are going to make statements about religion you should educate yourself on it first. Christianity didnt come from nowhere it came from Jesus.

He took a shot at a good-sized black bear and it started to charge at him out of panic. The priest ran as fast as he could but the bear eventually, inevitably, caught up. the priest in a final act of desperation knelt down and began to pray. "Please, oh please, save me, Lord!" cried the priest "Show this bear the error of his ways and make him a Catholic!"

Sure enough the bear kelt down beside the priest and began to pray as well. The Catholic lept upwards and rejoiced "Praise the Lord, a miracle has occured! The bear is praying with me!"

And the bear says....

"No, just saying grace."

just a "dream" as so many other enlightened beings have said, then why not be a joyful part of that dream, and be joyful that you are a part of it? I guess what i'm trying to say is : If this is your dream, and if the deepest parts of you know that you are dreaming, then why not revel in it, and dream as deep and as wonderful as you can for yourself and all others in your dream?
After typing this, I find myself realizing that this is really a question about compassion; so why isn't there more compassion and understanding in this great collective dream?

Meaning, how do you know that the teachings of Jesus aren't actually the Truth, but taught so that you can understand the Truth. Said another way, to find a buried treasure, you must be given a map, follow it's instructions up until it says "the treasure is buried below the palm tree on the left". Had the map told you where the treasure was buried without the instructions to find it and only the statement of Truth, in this case that of location, it would make no sense and you couldn't find the treasure.

I'm not talking about the other gospels and their take on the whole thing, I mean where in the Bible is Jesus Christ quoted condemning all gays. I've read through time and time again, and I have yet to find a single word attributed to Jesus about gays at all. Matthew & Mark both quote him repeatedly espousing love for all, revealing all secrets to the required understanding of all mankind, even openly declaring do not condemn others or it will all come back against you (another conveniently forgotten Bible verse, apparently.)

I have no interest in specious interpretations or correlations to other gospels, I am only interested in a direct quote from Jesus saying that all gays are evil and hellbound. After all, Jesus Christ was the head guy, right? It is called "Christianity", correct? Show me where Bossman says all gays should be sent to hell, please. For the sakes of those who need desperately to criminalize the gays, give them one single Jesus quote on this! Otherwise...?
