Not so much on here but in my real life i have .I love to know about different countries and cultures and before i was a mother i travelled quite a lot
i like the empathy thing as well were you put your self in the other persons shoes and think and feel from where they are looking
i don`t know if you understand this it`s not something easily explained . but at the same time it can be a bad thing which is why i go overboard sometimes if you feel for people you feel their hurt and anger too as well as what is good

Yes, I have learned new things from all of this. I have also come to understand myself and others in a way I could not have done without the forum and the multiple posts. its like getting a room full of people to answer one question without asking the question over and over to each individual.

Hi Pangel: Thanks for the question. I have been very shocked to learn that there are so many Christian haters out there. They even call us "Christiantards" and say that we have no intelligence.
I guess Jesus was right when he said "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you." John 15:18-19.
Blessings

it seems that you have stumped me --- i'm not quite sure what to say - i'm not sure why i find this question so difficult to answer - it should be an easy "yes or no" answer - i find learning to be the easy part, but understanding, well, that's a different animal... - perhaps understanding others is really the greatest obstacle that all seekers must step back from, and look at with new and different eyes; i have learned much from beings here, but understanding them has left me still seeking - thanks for the thought provoking question --- maybe i shall realign myself to seek understanding of others, rather than the knowledge that they posess...

thanks sweetie...

Yes, I have received others views of a situation. and learned there are several ways to look at things. and to not always go with my emotions...when corrected i have been humbled. This happens on Yahoo Answers

Yes, there's one Muslim girl on here I've become very good friends with. We've gotten to know a lot about each other's cultures (she lives in Egypt) as well as our families. I look forward to hearing from her in her emails. We don't necessarily agree on each other's religion, but we have developed a great respect and kinship and she is very dear to me!

I learned to answer to others as an individual matter since we all are made so individually, to be open and understanding since I have experienced many of their experiences. I try not to be judgmental.
