It seems that atheist on here have a great need to be better than believers. Here is a summary of most of the atheist on here

1) We are enlightened
2) Deists are brainwashed
3) We are better
4) We are smarter
5) The world would be better if it was only us
6) Deists are ignorant and we have all the answers


YOu will find that a lot of hate groups such as the KKK and Nazi Germany and Men hating feminist often depend on a need to feel superior to those who they direct their venom and hatred towards. And its really based on insecurities and low-self esteem.

Honestly if an atheist felt so correct then why be on yahoo answers on a Sunday night trying to provoke fights and put people down to feel good about yourself. If you are an atheist and this life is all there is (right?) then should you be out living up your short purposeless life instead of trying to prove how much more superior you are then people who believe?

In the OT, it was clear that God was a tribal god who helped the Israelis in battle. After Jesus came, this God was suddenly for everyone, and the apostles went out and tried to convert Jews and non Jews alike. Once Constantine accepted Christianity, it was convert to the monotheistic God or die.
All this conversion took place under the premise that every person in the world had God as their father, and were watched over. Now some evangelicals say that the Jews are still "chosen people"? That God loves them more?
How can that be?

My mom gives a boatload of money to the church and she thinks I should do the same. I think she's brainwashed because I don't recall ever actually seeing that in the Bible.
Although, I haven't really read the Bible in a long time, hence me asking the question here a Yahoo Answers.

A few months ago I got involved with a group of pagans, being pagan myself I thought nothing of it. However after a few months I realized that those who run the group are actually satanists or something similar. I hate to say they are a satanic cult because of all the hype that goes with that. Rather these people believe in showing others what they can achieve when they throw away all morals and values and honor their inner darkness.

Yeah free them up and get them to see the "truth" and then slowly take over their lives. Members begin with high values and slowly throw them away. Members begin to only associate with other members of the group. Members have to "work" more and more despite only having forty hour a week jobs. Members are often so tired that it becomes hard to make sense of their emails. Thankfully I left this group. Since then they have had very little contact with me but what do I say to the good people who are being taken advantage of to get them to see whats going on?

Religion and the bible were created in a time of sheer ignorance. GOD DOES NOT EXIST! He was conjured from the minds of fools. It is insanity. Creationism is for the weak of mind. Creationists or religious types are like sheep. They simply follow the herd and shut up. They are ery ignorant and blind to the truth. I pity them all! WHO AGREES WITH ME!?

I don't really know how I can apply it in my everyday life but I'm thinking of adding it somewhere. I already say sarcastic things like "That's why God invented the frying pan" and things like that when the situation calls for it.

I was just wondering if I should add things like "God-damnit" and "Jesus Christ" or would that be considered offensive?

Personally I think that to rid the world of religion would be
man-kinds greatest achievement.... I know this will offend people, so I apologize .......... NOT!!! In the end when we all die we will be wondering why did we spend all our physical life devoted to something so boring and restrictive.... There is only one religion worth saving and that is Trancendial spiritualism as it gives you the freedom to live your life as YOU chose with no ridiculous restrictions... Also a true spiritualist knows that there is no God as we are all part of the same thing...... So tell me how can we get all religion to just STOP!!!!!
P.S. please dont say nuclear weapons...lol
